al, i dont want to step on anyone's toes as far as the rc3 club goes. christian did not seem all that interested in getting it back up when i talked to him at that jgtca meet. and that is his clubs name, we cant just go steal it.

my opinion: we are on an rx8 forum getting rx8 cars together. i dont particularly think we need to include 7s in our name, but i would have no issue with any 7s coming out to our meets.

 

shouldnt you? lol ... i did the poker run -- twas a lot of fun!! i came in 4th with my poker hand of a pair of 9s. sadly, they only had prizes for first, second, third. couldnt do the regular meet cuz i have a doggy who needs to go out :D

personally I would think the 7 guys had their shot and blew it, so if they want to join us its up to them.

 

I'd say go with the black one only because it would match the interior.

 

Yeah it was just a design I was trying to come up with for a logo. Just filling in space . I really like the idea of our group being called, "Chicago Eights" so maybe that's 3 votes now huh? Anyway's, just so everyone know's when we do decide on a group name and logo, I have the hook up for us to make the Vynel decals in whatever color each person prefers. Can't wait for the final decision :D

As far as the name, we should not call ourselves RC3. I've received a PM from Christian and that club is still alive but on hiatus right now so we need to distance ourselves from that club and establish our own identity.

Basically satire...truth is I really don't care what everyone decides to name it...I was more just poking fun at us a bit, but more at what others car communities seem to say about our cars...

The only thing I'll weigh in on is that I think the name should be neutral so that all rotary owners feel welcome.

 

In for Chicago Rotary Revolution. This way, we'll be set up if Mazda produces a new RX-7 (as rumoured) in the next few years because if they do, I might sell the 8 and buy a new RX-7.

 

Rotory Revolution is used. It is a once a year event in Indy. Look at the top of the Regional Forums.
