^^ haha, i havent told the group yet!!! so here goes:

ahem, attention chicagoans: forum folks from around the nation are descending on our beloved city around christmas time. so far the opportune date for getting together is december 22nd.
i have no idea where, but we are planning a get-together that will probably involve fun (haha, of course it will involve fun!) depending on where such forum folks will be located throughout chicagoland will probably decide where this will happen.

^ lol, no worries! i was waitin til we had our aim chat, cuz i thought the 22nd was too late/too early for dazy, but now im not sure. prolly best we give everyone some advance warning!

Argh!!!
So I was going up to Detroit to visit family and friends for the holiday, and I decided to take the "8" with me. Well I was well into Michigan, near Battle Creek, when I was passing a gravel truck. As I was pasiing him a stone fell out and bounced once on the highway and then struck my windshield!!! 
So yeah it cracked the windeshield. I was so "T'd" off. So I drove even faster. I got up to about 130 and I finally cooled off and slowed to about 90 which was what everyone else was doing. It sucked yeah, but I'll get it fixed.
Anyway's, I hope everyone had a great Thanks Giving!

Okay, so the meet is this Thursday, but there is supposed to be a good chance of a rain/snow mixture. Wednesday, however, is supposed to be clear. Anyone else up for changing to Wed? Same place, same time, just a different day.

ouch race, that is the suxx0rz!! doesnt insurance cover stuff like that with no deductible? or is that just for windshield knicks and not cracks ... im not sure, but you should def check and see.

i just checked the weather again and it seems both days are calling for flurries in the morning. so, i think its kinda six or one half dozen, but if peeps want to change it, it doesnt really matter to me either way.

Nah, I can always take the train to work and leave the 8 in the garage. But it does make extracurricular activities like this meet a bit precarious. Tis the season.
