HOT IMPORT NIGHTS!!! Interested?
Hey everyone. For those who do not know of Hot Import Nights, it's an ever so increasingly popular import car show with many attractions and vendors of all kinds and entertainment. Best of all it's sponcered by Mazda! I think we should set up a meet for this event. Here are the details:
McCormick Place - Chicago, IL
2006-03-25
2301 South Lake Shore Drive.
Chicago, IL 60616
HIN
5pm to 12pm
Note: Some of us may want to register our cars to help get more people involved. If you think you might want to do this PM me. Also if you don't want to register your car parking is between 5 and 10 dollars I believe.

New iPod Interface
Hey all,
I just received an e-mail from Dension-makers of the iceLink iPod interface-saying they now have a kit for Mazdas. This was from Jesse at Dension USA:
"The kits have finally arrived and I will be able to start shipping this week. Compatibility hasn’t been entirely established yet but as long as your radio has firmware version 9.55 or newer the kit should work for you well. Firmware 9.67 is recommended. To check you firmware version, power the radio on, then hold the Text and Preset 1 buttons at the same time."
Don't know if this specifically means the RX-8 , but I did list my car as an RX-8 when signing up for the e-mail notification. They have not updated their Web site yet, but here is the URL: www.densionusa.com.

Hello All,
I'm still here in Florida, returning to Chicago tomorrow nite. There is news on the job front. Many of you know that on the 13th, I was due to be layed off. Things have changed. As of now, I do still have a job. But, I will be working 4 day work weeks(10hrs/day) starting at 2 pm. This would mean, no more EVOLV-Chicago meets for a while.

Hey guys,
Maybe we can have a Saturday morning brunch meet soon. Al, can you go if it around 11AM or noon? Race, I know you have a unique schedule, does it allow something like this? Would this give all of you lushes out there enough time to recover after Friday night? Anyone else have any ideas?

I think your idea about going over basics with your father would be cool if he thought he had something very constructive to discuss. My only hesitance is that it seems that even the very best mechanics are lost when it comes to rotaries. But I'm sure there's lots he could discuss that would be very beneficial for all of us.
My lush schedule sometimes makes bruch a possibility, sometimes not.

hey all, wow! sounds like everyone has a lot going on. i cant make it this saturday because i have a friend in the hospital in very critical condition. we are still waiting to see if he will come out of the coma.
anyway, if you have meet ideas, the best way to get this group to get off their butts is to pick a date/time/place and let me know. i'll post it up and then people can decide if they can go or not.
im gonna suggest saturday the 11th for the auto show in february. mebbe with a little notice race can stop by for brunch during his search (good luck dude! yea, move out over by me!!!)
