That's a very good question ... it's been obvious at warm weather meets, as we're pretty easy to spot (the idiots drooling over our cars and patting each other on the back for such great taste in automobile purchases). I'm thinking everyone should wear a red carnation in their left buttonhole and carry a NY Times in their right hand while walking with a slight limp. No?

How about gather around the RX-8? Cuz you know there HAS to be one there, right? (I bet it's red too ... tho I would like to see that new Shinka color in person)

BTW the 3D glasses that came with the decoder ring broke after the first use. I am so disappointed ...

So, on the Official Chicago Auto Show website, they don't list the RX-8 as a vehicle that will be displayed... They have a pretty incomplete website so I hope they just left it off.

I didn't even walk into Ford. I oogled the DB9 though. That's one helluva comfy car. Now if I just had $170k lying around. :D I zipped right through the Mazda display. I was going to hit them up with some q's just screw around but thought better of it. The Challenger was by far the best concept. The Camaro looked really good, though I dunno if they'll follow through.

I'd love to own a Cayman S .... mmmmm Porsche!!! I got to play cat and mouse with one on the road on Saturday.

And what was up with those awful colors on the Ford GT??? GREAT looking car, but baby blue and orange??? I don't care if there is history behind those colors ... yuck!

Yes, there is a great history behind those colors. The original LeMans winning GT40 wore those colors along with Gulf Oil sponsorship. Then a few years later the same team won again with the Porsche 917 with those same colors and sponsorship. I would take that car with those colors. Accually, I would take that car in any color.
