Adam,

Can't make it tonight, but thank your friend for us. I enjoyed meeting him and seeing his car at the last meet. Those S2000s are nice rides.

Hey RedMaz, for the meet on the 21st ... can you find a parking area where we can all park together? If the weather is nice, we'll want to hang by the cars and admire our wonderful choice in automobile for awhile vs just going inside (am I right on this guys?)

Mine has never flooded. Had a lot of other problems, but never a flood problem.

I flooded mine @ about 1000 miles.
I'm sure it is easy to run out of gas in this car.

Be aware that thieves are out there stealing your OEM 18" rims, too. My kids and I went to a BD party at Enchanted Castle in Lombard. Stay for about 2 hours and did noticed 2 kids walking away from my RX8 while we are coming out. Also, a girl driving a Probe GT was speeding away from the corner where my kids and I tried to cross to the parking area. Did not think anything of it until I was in the gas station a few blocks away. Both locknuts on the passenger side were gone and all the other 8 lug nuts were lossen. I was lucky that we had not gone up to 355 yet so no damage or injury occur. They scratched the rims near where the 2 locknuts are. Bought a new set of lock nuts the next day and thinking about putting a security alarm system now.............Wish I could catch those a$$holes.
But I guess my kids and I will be checking and tightening the lug nuts every day for now.

I'm glad that it didn't work out for them... I was planning to move downtown but the damn car made me stay out in the suburbs. I don't want to sell it nor do I want to leave it in the open.

Hello Chicago Area Club Members

Adam:

It was nice speaking with you yesterday. I am sorry about the way you felt you were treated by one of our dealers. As I said, I personally spoke with the Owner and Service Manager regarding the situation.

Kristen:

Sorry I have not been more involved, I have been REALLY busy.

We do have another "Zoom Zoom" style event coming up in June at the Autobahn. I will get you all more info later as it evolves.

Talk to you soon.

I Have Mazda Zoom Zoom Goodies To Give Away!!!

Yes, you read that right!!! I have received boxes, yes BOXES of goodies to give away at meets!!!! So, I hemmed and hawed and thought about the best way to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to "win" these cool items. Here's what I came up with:

You WILL win a goodie if you do the following:

1) SET UP a meet (see instructions below*)
2) ATTEND that meet AT THE STARTING TIME - YOU are in charge of the meet (yes, this step is mandatory)
3) Your goodie will be determined based on ATTENDANCE at your meet. Attendance will be determined by the number of rotary vehicles that show up at your meet.

5 Cars = Level One Goodie (Silver/Black Enthusiast Zoom-Zoom Pen)
10 Cars = Level Two Goodie (Silver Mazda Enthusiast Keychain with Light in gift box)
15 Cars = Level Three Goodie (Silver/Black Hot & Cold Zoom-Zoom Lunch Bag)
20 Cars = Level Four Goodie (Gray/Black Zoom-Zoom Baseball Shirt)
25 Cars = Level Five Goodie (SUPER GOODIE STATUS--trust me, they're GOOD!)

I have a limited number of these goodies, so I may have to substitute if we run out. I also reserve the right to randomly bring a goodie to be given away at any meet

Thank you to Adamrotor for steering me to this hook-up!!!

ENJOY!!
