I don't know why I didn't do this earlier so I'm doing it now and that's all that matters.

I'm the manager of Guerrilla Racing. We're based out of North Riverside, IL, just a few minutes outside of Chicago. We came together about a year ago and have kept growing since. It started with a few friends trying to make money out of garages and is now becoming a pretty solid team in the Chicago import scene.

what kind of work do you guys do? any tunning? suspension work or what?

 

tuning- I have a friend that tunes and dynos but I would need to schedule with him.

Everything else is fair game. FI, welding, exhausts, suspension, audio...pretty much anything you can think of. My guys are really good at what they do. And they care a lot too

 

do you guys build custom boxes for subs then? im going to put in a system in my RX8 during winter time and i have a sick idea for a box.

I hear thumping sound while driving (when I accelerate it accelerates). I need someone to look at it probably either the wheels are not balalnced or problem with suspension. Can you help?

 

We can't balance. We decided not to buy the machine bc a lot of people just get them done at the shop they buy rims at or they come balanced from tirerack

Besides getting work done, is anyone looking to join our team? Get work done for free, some new, lifelong friends and get to be with a real team in HIN....sound good? Pm me if it does and we'll see if you got what it takes.

I'd hit you guys up when I get my suspension work done. With the economy and all, I think it may be a difficult time to find a ton of people wanting to throw their money around. We'll definately keep in touch. I'd much rather have some enthusiasts touching my car than some mechanic who isn't famililar with the rotary. Bump for some local talent!

Noticing you guys in are in the Chicago area - wondering what you recommend for oil given the climate here and if you use and fuel additives...

 

Coming up at the end of the winter, there are a few things I will have to do on my car (some suspension, replace some fluids etc).
Do you guys ever allow people to work on their own cars? Not that I wouldn't trust you guys, I just like working on cars but the garage I have is a little too small to do anything with

 

We have before but have decided to stop letting people do it. A lot of people think they know what they're doing, break something and then turn to us to fix it. And of course, they don't want to pay, don't have a car until we get the parts etcetc..

So I'm sorry but we just can't take the chance anymore.
