Engine doesn't need to come out for the clutch. Trans does. Clutch is about a 5-6 hour job...maybe a little more depending on if you're replacing the flywheel.
What do all of my fellow Hoosiers use for Oil in this climate?
Suggested weight range for my 06 and just put in Castrol for an oil change. I premix using Bel-Ray H1-R and have since about 600 miles. I garage it in Winter and when it rains. 33K on the Odometer.
Anyone know of any RX8 owner with a turbo around the Indianapolis area?
Good to know. I'm on the east side of Bloomington. Been in town on and off since 85. How about you?
I am up in Camby which is about 20 minutes north on 67.

I do not think I have seen any boosted 8's around Indy.
Anyone know of a good all around rotary/transmission, etc mechanic in Bloomington? I did a search and found some guy in an old thread but the number I found wasn't valid so I don't think he's around anymore.
I live in Mishawaka up north, not many 7's or 8's @ here.
If any of you need a compression test I will hook you up and you can see the RCTV5 Digital handheld rotary compression tester in action.
I produce and sell them from right here in our great Hoosier state.
