Yeah, and I always told myself I'd never grow up to be one of those old guys walking Miami Beach with too much hair and too little of a marble bag. Why start now?

Don't forget this Sunday is only 4 days away. Sorry I haven't gotten a hold of you yet Modena, I'll be doing that soon to see about making further plans for Sunday.

Who likes Margaritas?
Oh, I have set up a “Speedo Zone” in the shallow end of the pool, lol

BTW anyone know this RX8 owner?...
First, I'll try to be there also...will have to check with the spousal unit... Hope there's a shady spot by the pool, I'm pale and like to stay that way.
Onto "anyone know this RX8 owner" I was at Creve Couer Camera a few weeks ago in the parking lot, and I had my first encounter with a fellow RX8 owner. In a whole year I've never talked to another person who has this car, so it was a big event for me. Dark-haired guy in his 30s who likes to take pictures. Anyone know him? He also drives an old Accord.
Hope to meet all of you Sunday.

Talked to Modena last nite, looks like we are on for drinks at his place Sunday. We can talk more about the details and directions when we meet up on Sunday at Dave & Buster's. Weather should be nice and warm (not to be modest or anything) so all should be good.

For all those who didn't come, you really missed out. Modena really put on a show at his place. Thanks again Modena for letting us come over. The day was perfect and so were the stories. We'll definitely have to do this again. Maybe plan for something around early August. Make it a beginning of the month type thing. It was great to meet all who came out.
Thanks again to Modena, you really capped off the day man!

Thanks guys!
Will do this again beginning of august! 6 or the 7th...
(You misted the part, where the "Speedos" came on!)
And where I lost my balance and landed on the floor,
Hopefully I can still shift, shoulder hurts like hell

I'm just sad that I missed modena's spill! Put some ice on it and take some advil or motrin. You'll be well in no time. At least you better be, I might need someone to help me with the exhaust you got me hooked on!
We'll definitely have to do this again. For those that didn't come I'll give a quick rundown of what went on:
1) 3 8's and a heavily modded 1st gen 7 met at Dave & Buster's
2) got a bite to eat and had a drink
3) went to Creve Couer Lake and had a couple beers, some good car talk, and got a bit of sunshine for a few hours
4) headed out to modena's for... well you'll just have to be there next time!

Got a couple of some dudes/dudetes in the pool, but forgot to take pictures
Of the rides.
Certain drinks seem to do that...
Next time I will learn not to take a dive on the concrete

You also forgot how many men does it take to open a pickle jar vs. a woman.
I was thinking having the meets the first sunday of every month...that way people can make plans ahead of time....maybe like a 1:00 at a central location. Whada guys think?

Just remember, no one ever asked me to try a shot at the pickle jar (as I flex my Popeye like muscles, yeah right!) But the first Sunday of each month sounds good to me.

I'm up for the first Sunday of each month.
I need to change my diff. and tranny oil, maybe she can do that for me, too! Although I'm thinking I want to do it before this Sunday because I might be heading to Gateway for the autocross. So maybe I'll have to just settle for an oil change as well.
