Hi all,
Anyone in MO leasing their RX8?
If so, can we get personalized plates on them and how do we do that?
Thanks!

To get personalized plates, go to your local license office and inquire. They'll give you a form to fill out and mail to the state with a $25 fee. You put down 6 choices in preference order. Then in 6-8 weeks you get a letter telling you what your plates are, and to go your local office to pick them up. Pay the $3 to the fee office and return your old plates and your done. I got my first choice! Well me and my wife's joint first choice. My first choice was Tom's 8 or Tom's RX8 or similar. My better half made it clear that this was our car not mine. As it turns out, she hates the car, she has bad knees and doesn't like the ingress and egress, doesn't like the manual, and lastly, she hates the way I drive it. To me it's a "toss about" car (FUN to drive) and she doesn't like being tossed about. LOL

Leasing/Plates
I asked my brother who is a HUGE Mizzou fan (and has everything Mizzou, even painted an entire RV gold with tigers all over it that plays the mizzou fight song......I could go on for hours) why he didn't have Mizzou plates since they are available in Missouri, he said that he leases his cars and the plate comes with the cars.

I stopped by the office...
You can get personalized plates on a leased vehicle.
However...
1) You need to notify your leasing company of your intention. Sounds WEIRD, but you have to. Mine is sending me a form to fill out.
2) You need to send in $15 for your plates. Thats it!
As for Mizzou, I could be wrong, but I think you can only get collegiate plates if you are an alumn that gave money (something I read somewhere).
