If you have a friend who is a licensed mechanic, you can do a damaged car auction and usually fix up a brokedown rx8 for cheap.

For example... my new rx8 coming in a week is a 2004 with 35k miles for 16k after repairs.

It is fully loaded comes with new rims and tires, and a carbon fiber hood.clutch was replaced this year, front bumper could be replaced crack in it only cosmetics. I bought an 05 gt w/ 33k miles for $11k a week ago in Louisville at a mazda dealership that I found on autotrader.com The only issue ive found with it is the auto leveling sensors for the hid headlights are bad.

 

There for a sec Ron I thought that you were naming my car. I bought my silver rx8 mt in late October for 9 thousand. Mine was 60,000 miles on it. And it was in oh but that's really close lol
