Hey, I'm in Louisville near Hillview! I have a silver 2004. I got it in May down in E-town. Anyway, next time you get something together post it again. I was banned on 502ss about 5 years ago because I politely sent an email to a guy telling him not to say I'm "bad in bed" since I never met him. Never figured that out and don't really care since most of that board is a bunch of punks.
Back to topic, I see a white RX-8 almost every afternoon when I'm coming home from work. It's usually going south on the Snyder and I typically pass it around the Fairdale exit while I'm going North. There is a yellow one around Hillview as well. Wondering if these guys/gals are on here.

On another note, I was thinking we should all meet up maybe Friday or Saturday night. We could grab a bite out at a restaurant or something after meeting up. It would be cool to meet some other 8 owners locally. Other than iKorty and some dude up in Indiana, they're all I've met so far. lol. PM me or reply if anyone's interested.

Okay... So lets meet up in the Meijer's Parking lot off of the Gene Snyder - Preston HWY Exit at 07:30PM EST. We'll wait from 7:00 to 8:00PM. We can decide where we want to eat when everyone gets there. If you're running late, just call me on my cell phone at 502-938-0521 (Mike).
Here is the complete address:
Meijer
Preston Hwy
9500 Preston Hwy
Louisville, Kentucky 40229
If you're going East on Snyder, you'll go left off of the Preston HWY exit, it you're going West, you'll take a right onto Preston HWY. After you make the turn from the exit, you'll see Meijer on your left at the first stoplight.
Google Maps Link
Hope to see you guys there and safe driving!

Welp, wish I had seen this thread last week instead of today, but oh well.
I drive a titanium gray, 2004, GT trim. Live near the airport, but spend most of my time over at my fiance's in J'town. If you see me cruising a touch faster than traffic, my apologies...I'm doing pretty good this year...no tickets since Thanksgiving, last year, so woohoo!! Then again, the last one I got in Georgia darn near killed the bank account, so I kinda' calmed down a smidge.
Anyhoo, I saw somewhere prior on the thread about going to the Dragon sometime. That's kind of far, but if y'all are up for a more "local" road, about 2 hours away is the most fun road I've driven on in the cage or on 2 wheels... KY 22 has over 120 curves in 12 miles; it's a killer stretch of road with new asphalt, and really, REALLY lets the '8 show off. (Assuming you aren't still running summer tires right now...)

There's news of a meet maybe this saturday at 2... I've messaged the guy asking for permission to post here. We should be hearing from him directly if not I'll go ahead and post the info. I just don't wanna throw it out there without their permission :P Keep posted guys...

Hey guys, here is a link to the Mazda 247 post I was referring to about the meet on 11/29. Hope to see you guys there! Address is 6025 Shean Ct, 40291 (Meeting at 2pm).
Click HERE for a Google Maps image of the location
Basically, if you're coming from 64 on the Snyder you would turn right at the exit and then left on Wimsatt Way. Second left on that street is Shean Ct.
If you're coming from I-65 on the Snyder, you would follow the same directions except at the Bardstown exit you would make a left instead of a right.
If there's any questions, you guys are always free to contact me on AIM or Yahoo Messenger. Some of you know my cell too so knock yourselves out. :P

Thanks... I was looking for a better backdrop at the waterfront but I don't get out much so that was the result of that day lol... Where do you work? You should come to some of the meets... I think the last one of the season was last Saturday though...

I work in the building now called the "BB&T Building"... Don't know why we have to call it that since we were here before the bank was, but whatever... Guess when you rent out 3 floors or so, you get to put your name on the building!
