Anybody happen to have a flywheel stop and alignment tool I can rent, borrow or buy? possibly a used clutch disk? I had a chunk fall out of mine but the flywheel and pressure plate look good. I only have 27k on it and dot feel like replacing it all right now.

Any suggestions on where to get some performance brake pads in the cities on short notice (and on a weekend)? I found two stores that carry Hawks but they are closed on the weekends. O'reilly's & Pep Boys claim they carry EBCs but the local warehouse doesn't have any.

Or, anyone have some decent pads laying around they want to get rid of?

The NAPA distribution warehouse for all of the metro is a couple blocks from my house. They're open some late hours, I would probably check them out.

Depends on how performance oriented you mean. I have a set of track pads - Carbotech XP10s but would need $160 (all four corners, used twice). I'll PM my cell . I am in Maple Grove.

Thanks, I called NAPA but they couldn't do anything until Monday.

Gary really helped out- ALMOST got me to BIR on Monday. I had some other things come up and had to postpone. :-/

On the plus side I have plenty of time to get some new pads lined up- anyone have a recommendation for a good street pad with occasional track/autox use?

I'd be happy to meet up if we're not too far out of the cities.

I thought fuddruckers was where the last meet was? I didn't go to it so I dont really mind if I ended up there on the 19th, but I think an outside park meet might be the best. I am in Wayzata, west of the cities so if anyone wants to be out that way that would be cool but I'll go where ever; I don't mind driving :-) so whoever is doing the head count they can count me in.

I better have it fixed by then. Its ben two weeks since I orderd my clutch from clutchflywheel.com who then ordered it from THMotorsports.com who then ordered it from ACT and they are now making it. Apparently a modified street disk (stage 1) is a special order item????
I called the day after I ordered it to have them send a alignment tool and I was told my order had allready shipped. Now they are sending me the tool for free due to the delay.

thats a nice headache.... i hate some vendors. why do you have to order and order then order again? parts could be soooooo much cheaper if we could 1, order directly form manufacturer (some let you) and 2, a vendor ordering directly for you!! boggles my mind..

and i just had a situation on ordering rotora rotors, they shipped me the rotors and the front brakes, but didn't send the rear brakes because they never placed the order.. basically 3 weeks worth of waiting... got everything. went to chris's house... 2.5 hours onf removing front rotor cause of factory screws... wrong size! they sent me ones for auto trans... apparently they dont have sport suspension... now waiting again... but they were nice, waived all shipping and accepted a return pass their 30days.

OK, here is the deal, I would like a PM or a text or an email, by next Tuesday!

Email thompsolonian@gmail.com
Cell 651-408-3317

I think a park is a good idea, once I get a head count I can figure out who can bring what, i think potluck styke grill out would work, I'm looking into parks now.

If we don't wanna do that, we could always go to fudruckers...I'll call ahead as a courtesy to let them know...

I got my Dad interested in going, but he has a 350Z...hope you don't mind.
