Ahh.. back from my vacation... but my car is garaged down in Farmington until my housemate finishes moving out..
So I havn't driven the 8 for more then 2 weeks now.. and it'll probably be another week or so before the garage is cleaned out here..
I saw 3 (4) RX-8's in Europe.. 2 Titanium Grays in the (London) UK. (RHD) and 1 Titanium Gray in (Budapest) Hungary. (Also saw a Red one sitting on a dealer lot in Hungary as we drove by...)
The little rear euro spoiler is certainly interesting. It would have been nice for that to be a US option. A bit more variety in the car.
Also one of the Titanium Grays in the UK had the headlight washer system. I really like the clean lines of the US (washerless) front end. It would be a neat feature to have.. but definatly not worth the visual impact.

When I drive the car hard in second and go to shift into third at high RPM's it grinds like crazy? I'm thinking it's the syncro, but could it be the clutch? I figured if it was the clutch it would slip.....Anybody

Does your car slip or does it grind when shifting?

Autocross
Autocross this weekend in Grand Forks!!! Wish some of you Minneapolis guys could make it out here...the Fargo one was a great turn out and so much fun!!!
Minneapolis needs to have one so I have an excuse to drive my car up there.
I wanted to put some pics on this post but I couldn't figure it out?
Is anyone using there High flow cats on there turboed cars? I know there was a backfiring issue with that, but mine backfires as it is so whats the difference?

I'm leaving for Ohio but I'll be back Aug 3rd so if you guys doing something after that I'll show up...
Speed did you make a boost controler?
My friend is making me one today out of some parts from the air tool section from sears?
He said it will cost 5 to 10 bucks! He did it with his turboed VR6 and it works great.
I'll let you guys know how it went
