Hey I'll take one of those graphics as well. Gray please =] I'll be visiting the Cars & Coffee in April so I can pick it up then if you've got them, otherwise another time could work out for me.

Prophet 03-19-2012 10:47 PM

Don't know the number off hand. Pretty rotten to do that though.

Don't know. but there are places on the net where you could post it, and they'll make his life a living hell...

4chan anyone? :evil_laug

Prophet 03-20-2012 09:20 PM

Make sure you really hate some one before 4chan posting. /b/ will really make some one want to kill them selves.

I have a blue rx8 for sale sitting in the amc parking lot in maple grove. I talked to a guy who has a pretty sweet set up with a black rx8 and I also saw a silver over by byerlys the other day.

TonyVS12385 03-21-2012 10:30 AM

I should have posted this a long time ago.. I have a stock cat at around 19k on it if anyone is interested or know of anyone who is. $250 is asking price.

PJLyons 03-21-2012 10:36 PM

Anyone have 4 TPMS I can purchase?

KRMRX8 03-22-2012 09:05 AM

I have a set of wheels without the TPMS but if anyone is interested, I still have a nearly new set of near perfect winter tires, LM Blizzaks on 5 spoke MSW/OZ silver wheels for sale at $700.00 for the set of four; balanced with under 2K miles. Prefer to sell in MN to avoid shipping costs.

So, went into polar mazda in white bear lake almost 3 years ago because my clutch pedal had been squeaking and i just got the notice of the recall. I had less than 90k miles on it. They stated it didnt qualify, greased something and 3 months later it was back to squeaking. Well, 30k miles later, the pedal finally breaks and im limping it to morries in minnetonka. 3 months past the 8 year cut off date im now stuck with flipping the bill to have the pedal replaced because polar was too lazy to do their job.. just thought id share that story as im pretty upset right now

Kaiser bun 03-22-2012 03:45 PM

Call MNAO and explain the situation, 1-800-222-5500. I have had luck calling them in the past, it's worth a try anyways!

Mazda North American Operations, I believe. Make sure you tell them that you brought your squeeky pedal in once you got the recall/tsb, and were told your car did not apply to this. (assuming your car is an 04-08 you were part of the tsb...) Tell them that because of the dealership's misunderstanding/mistake you are now stuck with a hefty bill that you must cover due to your car now being out of warranty. They should theoretically have some record of you going to the dealership, but there is a slight possibility that they do not... is there anything that you might have to show that you went there just in case?

Took my 8 into Walzer Mazda in Burnsville today, I'm getting a new motor because I have low compression and I'm still under my extended 8 year 100,000 mile warrenty on the engine core. Pretty excited to have a brand new motor and not have problems with hot starts or decreased power!

That's crazy. My 8 was there today, had a compression test and I'm getting a new motor too. Couldn't have been more than a few hours after you.

I don't live there anymore; but I frequent there at least 3 times a week.

There is a red rx-8 owner near deerwood road; I see him once a while, but I don't think he knows or care anything about the club. haha. 40-50 yrs old.
There might be a blue eight's owner working at the bestbuy there also. Haven't got a chance to talk to him.

Prophet 03-24-2012 10:55 PM

Since I work at Microcenter I never go to Best Buy. Nothing I want at them and the people are idiots. The last time I was in I just trolled the PC sales guy.

I will be moving into Alden Pond town homes. Seems like a nice area. Looking forward to it.

lol...I've got nothing against Bestbuy; but I only use Bestbuy as a reference center, so I can see the actual item before I go and buy it off Amazon. lol

Let me know when you moved in; I can swing by and show you around, good places to eat, back roads with no cops, etc. heheh... Eagans cops are nice, but they are everywhere; so watch out if you have lead feet.

talked to mazda, they said the dealerships dont just replace parts if they are not broken, which i understand, what i dont understand is how something that makes noise when it shouldnt isnt broken? And the only symptom of somthing starting to break is a noise. The kid said because of my mileage they cant do anything, which i also understand, but he pretty much ignored that i had gone in two years ago and got pissed that i called it a recall lol guess ill have to see what my lawyer says :(

tablesRX8 03-25-2012 04:25 PM

So who is going to CAR CRAFT??!! lol this will be my third year going and there has only been one blue one that parks down by the cone track (is that anyone on here?) I go all three days (its like a mini vacation for me lol) and usually spend most of my time on the track, with my friend and his mustang, and just so happens two other friends of mine just bought mustangs as well and all four of us are going. I need some backup! Lol lets get a group together, let me know what you think.

Yeah, really have a lead foot issue. lol. One reason I bought the car is that it's built for people like me. lol

I will let you know once we are all moved in.
