I must say it the electronics are ridiculously simple, why did I think it was going to be so complicated :) look at the tiny motor, you are right!

I saw someone else did this and eventually went with the nav tray because it was easier.

I wish you luck Champa if it doesn't work you always another option.

truemagellen 11-15-2005 04:08 PM

Anyone have a suggestion for a high quality tint shop around town? The MN tint laws really stink, but I think I'd still like to get it done.

Speedrx8er 11-15-2005 10:33 PM

Well, I decided to glass it and keep the screen up.. It should still look stock :D:

Sorry I don't know. <--- Ted do you know?

Malamore 11-15-2005 10:48 PM

I got mine done at Zeibart. I went with 20% if I remember correctly, it was the step up from Limo (5%). I thought I'd have issues with it but I wasn't bothered at all about it. I'm happy.

truemagellen 11-15-2005 11:32 PM

Ted just left my house he and I were planning out the 12" sub install :) :)

NICE!!! POST pic when you are done... My bro inlaw have two 12" sub he is not using.. I am going to grab one from him. I think I'll use that sunken in the trunk to house the amp. Then cover it with plexie glass.. then run some light to it using the illuminating line(ash tray, glove box light etc..) :)

ehehehe I will need to email you guys for wiring help

I have stopped in to Street Scenes Tint, it was recommended to me.

Street Scenes Tint
7701 Brooklyn Blvd
Minneapolis, MN 55443-2904
(763) 566-0888

or

8445 University Ave.
Spring Lake Park, MN 55432
(763)784-7070

When the weather warms up I am going to attempt tinting my windows. It is easier to install when it is hot. I have a precut set I purchased, it is only 50% though (which is definitely legal but very light). It blocks most if not all harmful UV rays, which protects the interior.

My uncle bought one of the park on top lifts he loves it. Not sure if it is the same brand though. He said he has wheels for it so he can move it with the car on it if he wants.

I will see next week when I am over there.

A person needs a tall ceiling in the garage. I think it needs at least 10 feet, 13 would be better though.

Man I just glass & bondo then Primed.. It looks and feel smooth as a baby's butt
until I primed it ahhaaha all the imperfection are showing.. I even got the deep scratch fill in primer... I'll have to sand in between prime..

Thanks, I'll check them out. I called Ziebarts in Bloomington today but wasn't very impressed with the fellow I spoke with. I was going to try the one down town as well.
