Is Nifty
I'd like to get a port too. Tell us how you like it.
Also, i'm thinking about storing my car for the winter now that I found a beater to drive. I just feel guilty for letting salt accumulate everywhere.

I love it! Besides being able to flash custom maps to the ECU that add power, up your OMP metering, and lower the coolant fan threshold,(my favorite three) there are lots of other features. Especially now that it has data-logging capabilities added. That and the tuner software. The potential for what you can do with it is vast if you know how to tune properly. I currently do not - I leave that to Mazdamaniac, and have been running his maps, although right now, we're all (AP owners) sort of in the early stages of "round 2" of a new calibration procedure that will result in new custom maps for each AP owner.
The anti-theft map is kinda 'fun'. 100rpm rev limiter.![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The physical USB connection at the OBDII port tends to be a little 'unstable', but I've learned to be more cautious, so it's all good.

Sorry guys, but my $5000 offer is no longer valid.
Sunday, my wife had moved my Rx8 forward two feet to get the snow blower out of the garage.
Monday morning, I tried to start the engine and it was flooded. At least I recognized the problem this time, so I put the battery on a charger and attempted the flooded engine procedures.
Those procedures do not work when the temp is -11 F and the battery would only crank for a maximum of 10 seconds.
Every half hour, when the battery was well charged, I would attempt to start the engine.
By 4:00 PM, I finally got the darn Rx8 to kick over! Of course, there was so much blue smoke billowing out of the exhaust, that you cound not even see the car in the garage.
I was so frustrated and upset with this car, that I was willing to sell it immediatly.
Now that I have calmed down, my wife and I have traded vehicles. She is having fun driving the Rx8, and I am now driving her 4 wheel drive Subaru Outback.
With the ice this winter, I have been afraid of driving the Rx8 and the flooded engine was the last straw.
My wife is looking at a Pontiac G5 GT, but I still think the Rx8 is a much better car. However, the G5 is front wheel drive and will not flood when you move it a few feet and causing the loss of a day's work.

^ good advice. Get a 4x4 to battle the 12 inches of snowfall/week and keep the rotary beauty safely in your garage until solid white lines are recognizable down the road
