i know it is short notice, but thursday or friday would be easy for me. this

I can do a Sunday, Matt have you figured out your tick? dealer said my noise was the aux port but I'm not sure if autos have those? but I have heard of a few other things that cause ticks, like air bubbles in the heater core I believe there is a TSB on it.

 

There's a Chiefs away game (pre-season) on Saturday, August 11th... we could meet up for that.

The BWW in Liberty works for me. Kickoff is at 6:30, so we might wanna get there around 5:30 to grab a spot. Plus that'd give us an hour to chat before the game got underway.

Thanks for directing me to the thread webgrl. Unfortanatly because of my wierd fire department schedule (24 hours on and 48 hours off) I have to work all day on Aug 11th. But seeing as BWW is one of my favorite restaurants and I'm always up for meeting new people thqat share the same interests, I'll definitly be up for another time! Is this something you guys do every month?

 

By the way Webgrl I thought I saw your car because I reconize the spoiler and didnt you park away from everybody else but a spot opened as we were all talking and you moved to be closer to the other 8's? If that wasnt you then I must not have seen your car yet.

 

Yeah, we try to do it about once a month, but no set schedule... Also, that was my car, but it's Titanium Gray, not silver, so that's why I thought you were talking about Matt's car (which is Sunlight Silver). I am the only one in the area with the x-men spoiler - at least that I know of.

I got an envelope in the mail the other day with a note on the outside which read "Important maintenance information regarding your Mazda" Apparently, it should have read "Has it been more than 20,000 miles since your last engine? It might be time for a new one."

Engine number 3 is on order... should be installed in the next 2 weeks. So I doubt I will have the car in time for the meet. Who all is still going?

Btw, when I put my car in the shop, I saw SHOWOFF's TiGray on the lift... man that car is a beaut. Shop Manager said it was getting a new engine as well. C'est la vie, I suppose.

So I take it you took yours to Rob Sight? They are awesome. They actually let me in back to view the install of my new engine.

 

Well, it's a sport, so I guess it counts. :P

Yes, I took my car to Rob Sight based on the feedback I've gotten from Chris and some of the others at recent meets. The last meet we had at Chili's, I was complaining about the car "choking out" or not having as much power. So I took it in and they said it had low compression.

I won't be able to make the meet this Saturday. Besides not having the car, it's also family night at my son's cub scout camp.

Hey all, I won't be able to make it either (I know, the 2 people who wanted to get together now can't make it). On the plus side for me, my work is sending me to El Segundo, CA. It's about 6 blocks from the beach and I have most of the weekend to relax. Leavin Friday, get back Monday. You all have fun and I want to come next time!
