It is coming from the rear transmission output seal and it leaks down, gets heated up, and I smell it. It was replaced once under warranty a little over a year ago and it appears to be the same thing. I am in the process of finding out why it is going bad again.

I have traveled to North Carolina, it was an awesome drive down, mainly in the mountain areas. Everyone was slowing down to 50 or 55 going downhill and around turns but i punched it up to 95, no joke. Handled beautifully! Cant wait for the drive back!

I was just in Dickinson last weekend (Im going to college in Fargo, but I'm from there)... I'll be back dec 14th or something like that until January 9th. How long have you been up there?

I've been up here for a few months. I originally had my 135i up here but after it received more ND battle wounds than I could count I decided to put RPF1's and snow tires on my 09' civic si and rock it for the winter.
The civic had its mud flap ripped off on the way up here. It's impossible to keep anything nice up here.

Ya... I've lived in Dickinson my whole life and up until about 2 years ago that wasn't a problem at all. In fact on more than one occasion i made a trip up to Mandarea (north of Kildeer) and there is a nice little stretch of amazingly fun roads, but they are worthless now as you are gurranteed to receive 5 rock chips and get stuck behind countless semis.

I'd be down for a meet up but I won't be able to until springtimeish. I'm putting my baby away. Besides I'm short on cash after the trip to NC, back now and the way back was way more fun. Doing 110 around the mountain curves with a 6 and an eclipse. The eclipse tried to run against me and I stomped him, espically around the curves, I was the only one who didnt slow down haha. Stupid, probably, but it was a blast! I did not see a single 8 on my trip though which was disappointing to say the least. I'm gonna need a new clutch though, my stage 3 is finally going out.

I plan on putting my NOAH car cover up for sale if anybody would be interested in it... I paid around $250 after shipping for it and i'll sell it for $120 or so... only used it prob 5-10 nights total and it doesnt fit with the mazdaspeed bumper on. I also have a garage now so it doesnt really do me any good these days. Let me know if you're interested, I could drop it off anywhere on I-94 between Dickinson and Fargo.
edit: I also have a cheap "Storage Bag" and some wind clamps, it's not much but I thought I would add that.

1- http://sccabadlands.org/
2- Get the inside cleaned out.. (the floor mats will even be coming out) so nothing is moving around inside. Helmet (loaners provided and I have always used those). If your battery isn't already make sure it is bolted down. Window chalk (need to mark car # somewhere on car). Event registration is usually 9:30 to 10:30 I think but definitely no later than that. One time weekend participant is like maybe $45.. Scca yearly membership drops the cost but you can ask about that when you're there.

You will not see significant wear.. but kinda depends on type of tire, conditions, track surface, and drive style. (and your definition of significant) If I had to throw a number at it i would say tread height loss of 1/8 inchish at the most..

Turns out I'm not moving so I'm keeping my baby, although I have 2 codes I just threw, one for misfire and one for AIR celenoid. Easy fix, just need to get money, oh and my throw-out bearing is going bad haha. I think she's mad that I was gonna sell her.
