So where is everyone staying?
I was hoping to stay right downtown, maybe on the Mag Mile or over on State by the HOB and ESPN Zone.
Chicago is my favorite North American city so this weekend will be like a mini holiday. However I am aware the Plainfield is about an hour from the core.
Recommendations?

Ray, I too would like to see your coil upgrade kit at this meet. <just saying>
As a matter of fact it would be easier for me to get anything I can from your product line and bring it home with me instead of having to ship it.

- Put me down for comp test (this test frightens me)
- Is it possible to convert me over to direct port with a couple of BHR Nozzles? Or the TB Plate for Nitrous (likely could do the latter at home)
- BHR ignition-controller module for nitrous use
- Would like to have a midpipe in place for MM to tune against, however I am at a total loss about which product to get. I've heard that many burn out in short order. Ray any chance you could spec me a midpipe? I'll buy it and ship it to your address.

What I would like to bring home with me but not necessarily install at the meet.
- BHR box aluminum dead-pedal with dimpled plate grip surface.
- Clutch pedal reinforcement
- CRH and MM bobble head

One last thing, I think my throw out bearing is going. This type of item is cheap and easy to get. I was wondering if you could do a health and wellness test on my clutch setup, and hopefully be able to fix the problem.

Oh and Ray would you bring a tank of N20 that doesn't leak, Thanks man
I'm not comfortable trying to bring my tank across the border.

It sounds like there are people who want Ray to install some different things. Just remember that we have a limited amount of time for the dyno and we want to get as many cars tuned on the dyno as we can while we have it.

If you want something installed work with Ray and myself but if the mod doesn't make any difference to the tune on the dyno he may not be able to install everything on Saturday.

Gotcha Tdiddy, I was just sorta hanging it all out there to see what the possibilities were.

Anyone staying at a hotel?

WCS - You will be one of the later cars on the dyno so it shouldn't make that big of a difference for you.

I'm pretty sure Ray will be in town Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Over that period of time he should be able to install anything that anybody needs help with. He just might not be able to install everything before everyone gets on the dyno.

MM,

Any responce to above?

No need to do anything, really.
We can go to stock right before the run if that is what you want to do.

OK, Thanks. I do want to get a baseline run to see where I am before the AP tune.

I guess my other question is are you tuning our vehicles for max HP while keeping reliability? I'm not to concerned with MPG or cat life. Not sure if you'll have time to set up each vehicle with two maps, meaning one for daily use (good MPG) and one for track use (the hell with MPG and cat life). I wouldn't mind running the more aggressive map all the time since my daily commute is less then 20 miles. Looking forward to this

Ok....we need to start an official list of who is going to be doing the dyno runs. I will be going to Perfromance sometime this week to pick up my car......

So, Tdiddy, do you have a list ? Or should you just make a new thread for a list? I would like to give dave a heads up and an idea of what to expect. It looks like a lot of people will at least be coming out to watch too.

I would like to see us add a couple more cars to the list. Even if those cars are not 8s. I think we have time and it will make it cheaper for the dyno. Anybody got any friends that want to do a couple dyno pulls?

Just remember, the more cars we line up, the fewer pulls I'll have to tune your cars.
There will be a balancing point for the cost per person for the dyno and usability.

MM is right I, 10 cars will give each one about 45 minutes. Though some are only Dynoing a sweet spot will be b/w 10 and 13 I believe. At the same time it will help to have some back-up cars in case some people drop out at the last minute.

I would like to have 10-12 cars on the list. Roughly 4 dyno only, 4 N/A AccessPORT, and 4 FI cars. This should balance the costs with the time.

I will be the last car on the dyno and I will pay for my dyno and tuning time whether I get it or not. All I really care about is getting my car running again. It doesn't matter to me if MM or CRH can do that in the parking lot, on the street, or on the dyno. As long as I can drive my car again after that weekend!!!

Every day for the last 7 months I have had to come home and see my car setting there in the garage on jackstands. I die a little bit each time.

Its just a hunk of tin, glass, rubber and plastic.
Don't get too emotional or you will treat it like a girlfriend; which is to say - way to well for what its worth and with way too high of an expectation.

We'll get it right. I've got two+ days to work on it!

Ok....I am 99% positive I will have a semi-built B18 swap in an integra with a turbo wanting a tune. Will this be possible? Or should I have Performance do his tune that day?
