Spotted @ Easton Columbus, ohio
You had a black gt with chrome rims. I waved (not sure if you did too) . Nice ride. Hey Columbus people. do you wave when you see another 8 go by. Everytime I do, I get that look of confusion.

I think I know who you're talking about. I've seen a black with chrome around. I think the owner is from S.Carolina because of his plates. I've seen it a few times parked at Lennox.
I always try to wave. I was parked at a Krogers in Dublin, doing some reading at lunch the other day. I was really into my book so I didn't pay much attention to anything going on. I looked up and saw that a blue 8 parked several spots down from me. At this point I was curious as to who it was, because to this day I've not formally met another owner. Finally, the owner came out from Krogers and I made sure to make a point and wave to him. He waved back.
So if you see a TiGray waving at you, wave back! BTW-We should have a Columbus meet or something....

ra, i bet youre the one ti i saw yesterday around 6:30 (turning from emerald onto rings) and either thu or friday morning sitting on riverside at the emerald light. im the red w/the strakes, clear corners and ud plates (well, plate.) theres another red just like mine somewhere around here too, but i dont think they have the corners. ive never seen the blue one, to be honest ill go weeks w/o seeing another 8 so seeing two this week was odd, even if it was the same one!

I was up at Easton last weekend and saw a yellow 8 the looked lowered and was sitting on black wheels. Don't know whose it was, but everyone who walked by it had their heads turned. I'm not a fan of yellow cars but that ride was dope.
Last sunday I picked up my red RX-8 and so far I absolutely love the car. The mileage is a bit rough but the car is so much fun that it makes up for it.

Rolen and kellybrf were right Columbus, that was me. Thank you for the compliment! :D
I have been getting alot of positive feedback from the wheels and I thought the car got alot of looks before, but now that those wheels are on it, holy cow.
I just pm'd kellybrf this morning about getting a group of us together for a cruise and/ or lunch sometime. Once it gets a little warmer I'll try and put something together. Cool?

I haven't been on Emerald Pkwy for a long while, but I tend to be in the general vicinity. I do see a girl driver in a V. Red going down 270 heading south from Dublin every other morning. I'm traveling North, towards Dublin, to Blazer Pkway. Is that you? I'm not sure she has the clear corners though.
Success, I can't wait for the outting. Keep us posted!
Regards,
Ra

Dude I am in Columbus as well, I live in Marble Cliff, I saw the yellow at Easton the other day and examined it closely, it was done very cleanly. I try to wave at people as well, very few people respond. We Cbus owners should get together sometime and chat. Who knows maybe start a meet or something of that nature. Open to suggestions.

There's a black Z in our parking lot, that I believe belongs to a consultant.

Just another Columbus 8 owner checking in...I think that I've seen a couple of you guys around town. I'm at the OSU dental school doing a residency. I can't wait till the sun comes out for good so I can drive around and see what this 8 is made of. By the way, what's up with all of these potholes in the city and on 315?! I grew up in Montreal and in never seemed this bad. Hey, Success07, do you take your car to MazdaDirect? I think I might have seen yours while I was getting my winter tires removed last week?

Montreal rules... from a fellow former-Montrealer.
You should see the major league potholes we have up here in the Detroit area!

There seems to be quite a concentration of 8's up around Tuttle. There were at least three in the lot at Sterling Commerce when I was working there (before I got mine). If you see a yellow downtown around Franklin University that's me <wave>.

When I see a 8 I'm usually in Cleveland and in my Company provided Mini-Van. I always want to wave at the few 8's I see but then I don't. I think everyone will think "Why is that looser in the mini-van waving at me?" I've never been on the road in my 8 and see another 8. It always happens when I'm in the van....sigh...

Expect another 2 in the area.
Don't know where they live but the other day at Bob Boyd (lancaster) a guy sold 2 of them.
An older guy was looking at one, aparently asked his son to come out and take a look with him. The Son liked it so much he bought one of his own.
Another salesman had a lady look at an 8 today but she decided she wanted to compare it to the 350Z. If I had known before hand I woudl had offered to show them the motorweek and Top Gear videos I have on CD both endorsing the 8 over the Z.
Oh well, my time will come ... soon ... hopefully.
Havn't even got to sit in the 8 yet, been driving the Mazda 3 and 6 also drove a Ford 500.
Mazda 6 was the best out of that pack IMO.

Anyone in Cbus have personalized license plates?
I'd wave then, albeit from my Integra GS-R. No personalized plates myslef but you can tell it's my Teg from the Wright Tuning sticker adn the Cbushondas.com sticker on the drivers side window.
Saw an 8 over the weekend with the plate: "RNACRZY"
Small woman driving down 315 pulled off at Riverside so safe to assume she's a nurse of some sort.
