Hey guys, my name is anthony, i'm in the columbia area and finally just got around to making an account on here. I was wondering if any of you could show me a DIY for installing springs on the 8 because i haven't been able to find one (i was planning on ordering some eibach's or s-tech's when i get some time to install them).

Since you're somewhat local I guess ill help you out instead of telling you to search on your own.

Dont forget to preload the front when you do it. Defintly helps.
It says the rears take longer but for me the fronts took longer. If I were you id go with S-Techs although i haven't seen eibachs in person.

Well just a tip when you go to search. Go to advanced search then search titles only. then type in what you want. Works for me everytime. Anyway hope you can come out to some meets sometime even though they seem rare. I was actualy just down in columbia last week picking up shocks from a member that lives there.

pretty sure i'll be going with the s-techs, the only reason i was considering the eibachs was my concern of the oem shocks not being able to handle the drop of the s-techs, but it should be fine. I'll just keep an eye out for the potholes.

ha ha ill sell ya the red one if ya want...
Welcome to the site, i just graduated in December. But still have my apartment out there so i go back and forth from there and STL. So if your 21 make sure to go to Harpos for me tonight, cause im goin through withdrawls. lol
dont hold me to this as i am no mechanic but you should be fine with the S-Techs and the OEM shocks. I've been runnin that set up for around 40,000+ miles and have had no problems what so ever just remember if you move to an aftermarket bumper to set up some way to hook up a tow hook, i kinda skipped that step and its a pain in the *** if you have to tow it cause you flood the 8 or something else.
Cole congrats, we had one of those at my school back in the day that i won when i had my grand prix GTP. It was pretty cool.

They decided to postpone the shoot because the girl who won it didn't have her car today.. lol
My parents bought a Red Camero SS today. I still love the 8, but 426 horsepower feels amazing.

I just got back from driving it.. We have to wait for the break in period to really thrash it, but it has a competition race setting where it will hold your revs right below redline, and when you let out the clutch it will help keep traction to get a better launch.. It's pretty badass. Only 34 miles on it.
