Wow BMT was a great time! RX8 traction control and low speed elevation changing hairpins do not go well together. when your turning that sharp the traction control would kick in and hit one brake which would lock it up at that low of speed and cause it to lock the opposite side bring the car to a halt. then you get the oh **** moment of my car just stopped and there are cars coming in fast

Just bought some spacers, springs, rear tail light overlays and gettin the windows tinted. bank account doesnt look to pretty right now, but the G will!!

 

Hey guys hope the meet was solid, I'm being told to check my wheel bearings that those may be causing the suspension issue / metallic whirring/squeaking I've been getting. Anyone know how to do that?

 

Grab a wheel, and shake it!

 

Lol I'm assuming if it moves the bearings are bad?

 

Yep. Easiest is to grab at the top and rock back and forth. Take the wheel off for closer inspection if necessary.

there were 30something s2k's 2 Porsche 911's 3 Miatas 1 NSX 1 toyota corolla(sold his s2k cause he had a child and was a sweeper) and 1 RX8
we broke up into 4 groups of 10.

For red-rx8 yea a couple of us met up at Forest Park Saturday afternoon, however there was only 1 rx8 out there.

it was a new corolla he was a sweeper car so he trailed behind everyone. only mods were rpf1's and a driver who was used to the roads. he used to own an s2k and had been on 6 bmt runs

 

James decided to go Cobb AP and a few other goodies instead of koni's and springs so sadly I wont need your expertise anymore

 

no now you need jorge at P&L motorsports in chicago get that car a custom tune and really see what that AP can do
