Autocross this Sunday at Family arena in St. Charles, how about coming out to play with the SCCA crowd. Would love to have more RX8's out there. If you have never autocrossed here is a link to explain a bit more http://www.stlsolo.org/new. Also, St. Louis Region SCCA is planning a Tech-O-Rama for the middle of may and all auto clubs are invited to come out and be represented. There will be give aways, raffles, product demo's and hopefully some technical presentations. Would be fun to have a bunch of rotary nuts show up. By the way mine is an 04 GT Black, nothing special but sure is fun to drive.

That'd be alot of fun! If my wheel bearing and hub assembly gets in this week and I can change it out I'll b there. Otherwise my car is kinda scary to drive haha

Yeah, you might have a bit of an issue getting through tech if it is that bad. Sure wouldn't be any fun watching a wheel head across the Katy Trail and into the river.

I missed the first event because I botched a sway bar upgrade, breaking an endlink without a means to replace it. I have since gotten it fixed and will be at this next event for sure.

On another note, anyone local interested in getting Idemitsu oil and / or premix for a decent deal? PM me for more info.

Ill possibly be going out there, I gotta work that day so depends when I get off.

On another note IDK what to do guys, I need to replace my rear shocks for sure the fronts looked alright. Ive been debating for a couple weeks now whether to get some 800 dollar coilovers im interested in those powertrix ones if any of you know what im talking about or if I dont do that ill get konis.

Konis 500.... Total 500
Powertrix probably 850 with shipping and then sell S Techs 130.. Toatal = 720 and I can adjust height now.

So for 220 dollars I can get coilover basically since I need something no matter what. My rear drivers side is about a half inch lower than the passenger and I am bottoming out sometimes.

What would you guys do?

Yea man I was suprised that they were sagging but its weird I went on some pretty crazy backroads a few weeks ago and im thinking maybe something happened to them then, it seems that only the drivers side is sagging but both rears the top 4 coils of the springs are touching.

The coils are the hardest part if you don't have small hands. Otherwise it is a pretty easy job to do.

Well I think theres a chance of like breaking an apex seal but yea just make sure they are torqued to the correct specs. Dont ask me what those are, have no idea.

So you just bought the exhaust without knowing the name?

Okay, I gotcha. I think I have seen a few recent threads about one from ebay and they said it sounded pretty good. Hope it all turns out well for you.
