My graduation/ grad party is this weekend, so I'm out. I am spending today in the garage painting the rims, and the front two look damn sweet. Once I get the rear two done, I will get some pics up of the new look.

The rims are black.
They do feel kind of weird. It doesn't look rough, but it isn't ultra smooth like paint either. I had to peel it off once and re-do those rims, and that felt pretty weird. It took 2 bottles to put 3 coats on each of the rims.

It looks pretty sweet though, so eventually I will either get the rims powdercoated, or look at getting a separate set of rims.

Finally gonna be getting the 8 back on the road soon either this weekend or early next week, so whos interested in getting some kind of meet going?

I just realized since I joined the 8 club about a year and a half ago it seems like all the 8s that were first here are dissapearing, so lets get something going guys, post up some dates that would work for you.

How about saturday June 4th? Or the following weekend on the 11th.


On a side note I removed my air pump today and its nice to have some free space in the engine bay, I just made a lil cover exactly like the racing beat one out of some material I had sitting around the garage.

Arrow 2nd Annual Columbia, MO Spring Meet 6/4/2011
Hey guys so its that time of year again for the Second Annual Columbia, MO Spring Meet. This years meet will be held on June 4th, 2011 at Reactor Field parking lot right off of Providence. Last years meet had an attendance of 250+ cars/bikes with rain, and we hoping to double that number this year. This meet is open to ANY make/model of car,bike,truck,etc. This year the University of Missouri was kind enough to let us use one of their parking lots with a capacity of 500+ spots. We will be having a BBQ again this year, with hopefully a cruise afterwards.We are also lucky enough to have Allstate Insurance helping sponsor this meet so there will hopefully be a booth setup where you can have quotes run. We already have 200 confirmed guests at of right now (3/16/2011) on facebook so it would be nice that when you tell that your coming you state if you have already confirmed on Facebook or not so that I don't put you down twice for coming. There will be another thread made concerning the food situation.

-Just like any other meet I please ask that there be no burnouts, alcohol, etc because we are hoping to get this lot in the future!

I might be down for the valley this week. I won't be driving the 8 after June 15th because I am having shoulder surgury and will be in a sling for 6 weeks. It's hard to shift in a sling...
