what about the columbia meet june 4th?
Hey guys so its that time of year again for the Second Annual Columbia, MO Spring Meet. This years meet will be held on June 4th, 2011 at Reactor Field parking lot right off of Providence. Last years meet had an attendance of 250+ cars/bikes with rain, and we hoping to double that number this year. This meet is open to ANY make/model of car,bike,truck,etc. This year the University of Missouri was kind enough to let us use one of their parking lots with a capacity of 500+ spots. We will be having a BBQ again this year, with hopefully a cruise afterwards.We are also lucky enough to have Allstate Insurance helping sponsor this meet so there will hopefully be a booth setup where you can have quotes run. We already have 200 confirmed guests at of right now (3/16/2011) on facebook so it would be nice that when you tell that your coming you state if you have already confirmed on Facebook or not so that I don't put you down twice for coming. There will be another thread made concerning the food situation.

-Just like any other meet I please ask that there be no burnouts, alcohol, etc because we are hoping to get this lot in the future!

AJ the columbia thing is saturday, Im going, Ryan is going, another guy i know is, and then im sure James will be there. Feel free to meet up with us and drive down there. Ill probably be trying to head out at about 9 am.

Also does anyone know about how to get headlights to work? All I have going right now is the HID lights and highbeams don't work. Bulbs look good from the outside.

 

Anyone wanna help me wire up some puddle lights? Sometime in the near future, havent gotten all the parts.. Expirience with Door panel removal helps.

I think I'm going to wire them to flash with blinkers as well as regular courtesy operation. Anyone see any problems with doing that?

Any idea where can i get one of those panel popper tools?

Also looking to buy some LED replacement bulbs if you guys know where to look..

 

Door panels are pretty easy to remove I think ive done it about 10 times at least with no tool other than a screwdriver.

What kind of bulbs are you wanting to replace?

 

I will be at the AutoX at the Family Arena in St Charles on Sunday if anyone else is coming out. I will be there with my sister's father in law in his Miata.

There are 2 8's registered, and I havent registered yet. But you should be the only one. And that rhymed rather nicely.

 

I got my footwell LEDs from superbright LEDs their local so I wanted to try them out, IDK if you want footwells or not. I rarely seem to use them now though I always forget I have them.

All my other LEDs that I have which are only parking lights and sidemarkers are from VLEDs. The rest of it my fogs/ headlights are VHIDs.

I dont think ill be making that autoX, Its my bday but I still dont know what im doing.

 

I live maybe 10 mins from the Family Arena off of Jungerman and 94. I dont think that I could do Colombia Saturday. This might be something cool to go to.

Yeah, I want to do footwells and puddle lights. Beyond that I just want to put some red interior/sidemarker LEDs. But i want to keep the map lights white because the red would get annoying if I was actually trying to do something.

 

They arent really all about cars so they have a shop but its not like something you can go in and check out really, I stopped in there just to pick up my stuff but thats about it. SuperbrightLEDs.com

plugs wires and coils for sale i need to sell need the money these have never been used . 100 dollars thats 200 less than what i paid for them.

 

Well the fender rolling was a success, only cost me 30 dollars to buy a heat gun and the correct hammer. Anyway that ever plans to do this I would suggest not to use the fender roller or get it done considering it can be done by yourself plus you get some handy tools outta it.
