If you're looking for Mazda parts you can't go wrong with Rosenthal Mazda at http://www.finishlineperformance.com. I got my factory Sirius satellite thingy there as well as a couple other things. Great to deal with and competitive prices. Although there are a few other people on the vendors forums that sell after-market strakes of different finishes at decent prices.

As far as the shift ****... not sure. Although when I was looking at buying my 8 a couple years ago there were a couple cars on the lot missing their shift *****. So if you're the cleptomaniac type I'd say that would be a good source for a ****. Otherwise try Rosenthal/Finishline. Although I know a replacement isn't cheap, so good luck.

Chase, check the FS parts forum section... often there are people buying and selling 18" OEM rims for decent prices. (you can't have mine, though! =p )

I could host a playoff party, but only if you're NOT a Colts fan ...

I'll be in STL from mid-Jan to early-Mar or so. Should I change from my snows back to my summer rubber?

Sorry guys I am still trying to recover from Cohwer leaving the Steelers.

Drdiaboloco, I am a STL transplant so I can't comment on which tires to use. I am sure Waterlogged, Baseballgenius80, Teretsboy, Snowborder4life, or Fisherdn could advise you better than I could. Make sure you let us know when you arive though so we can get together.

Bears fans are ok, as long as it doesn't come down to Chiefs v. Bears in the Super Bowl

And owning snow tires in STL is a waste of coin, we don't have winters anymore.

Yeah, I agree with the lack of winters in STL. I kept my FWD car (not worth the trade) thinking I'd need it in case of a bad snow and not being able to get around in the 8 in the winter. After sitting around for a year and motoring along just fine in the RX-8 I've loaned the FWD car out just to keep it running and maintained.

As far as tires to get through the winter, I just have a set of high performance all-season treads that wrap around a set of OEM rims when I don't have the "race" tires and rims on in the warmer months.

OK.
Does Saturday 3pm sound good? I think the Indy vs Balt game starts at 3:30 then the Phila vs NO game starts at 7pm.
I will be watching both but don't know how much time you guys have. I will supply the food.

Anyone else headed over to Chico's this weekend for some brew and ball? I'll most likely be able to be there at 3ish for the Colts game. I need to root on my "twin".

I'll be in town this weekend. It'll be pretty hectic, but I should be able to make it in. Give me a call if you guys are doing anything on any other day. I'm leaving on monday afternoon.

You mean any OTHER day besides Saturday? I can call up the NFL but I'm not sure how they'd respond to rescheduling the games so that it's convenient for you.

Oh that! Well, we can see about getting a post-game booze on. I'll of course have to pace myself during the game, though.
