I'm having my car e-tested at work tomorrow(again. Lets hope my car actually runs the test and passes this time! The car only had two drive cycles when it was tested the first time so I'm hoping that was problem.

AJ I went through like 10 cycles before I could finally pass inspection. It was a huge pain.

Looks like Sam is getting my exhaust this Sunday I believe. Ill be without one for a few days I guess then. As far as getting your stock exhaust back to you Cole Im sure we can work it out. I can leave it here for as long as you want if you can get it at spme point.

You could throw my stock exhaust on there if you needed to Adam. It's not like it would hurt it. Did you get rid of your stock?

Work has been crazy.
My AP midpipe should be here in 2 to 3 days. After that I will need a little help putting it in. cough cough Adam.

I also picked up a 12' sub and amp last week. 12' 1000w Pioneer sub with a 1400w Alpine Amp. Someone is shipping me all the wires I need to hook it up, should get them sometime this week. Then I will have some bump to cover up the exhaust when I want it. lol

Hey everybody I don't know what took me so long to register but I finally did I got my 8 in December of 2011. Been in and out the forum looking at threats way before I got the car. Long story short I am the third owner bought it already with a few mods I did a lil myself, still trying to figure things out. Anyway I was wondering if there was any upcoming meets going on. I got a few questions and would like to know you guys input given the fact that most of you had an 8 for a while and know the ins and outs of the car better then me.

Cole I would also be willing to help you out with the midpipe. I always need to make some more friends and I have a garage full of tools that beg me to use them.

Alright! I have never put in a midpipe, and I am pretty sure the bolts are going to be a PITA to get off. Should be here in 2ish days.

Welcome Dark.

Cole the first time I went to take my midpipe off I had to get the blots cut off with a torch, I hope yours arent that bad. I could help if I ever get the time to do it. Just been super busy lately.

Who plans on coming to the meet this Saturday? Its just a meet and greet but should be a good time just to talk and whatever.

To anyone looking for a good drive let me recommend Route Bb between Highway 30 and Hillsboro. Put it in fourth and let it ride.

Adam, you might have an idea about this.

When I turn my steering wheel to the left, it isnt smooth, it knocks. Worse sometimes than others. Any thoughts? Loose bolt somewhere down therE?

First thing to do Cole is to get the front end of the ground with the key in the on position. That way you can give it a wiggle from side to side and check if the tie rods are loose. You can also slowly turn the wheels in that direction and see if it is rubbing something.

It only does it when I turn it to the left, and not the right or when I return the wheel to the right. I will do that tonight.

Yeah if you turn the wheels really slowly from side to side you can usually feel if anything isn't right. It shouldn't be very hard to turn with our electric rack. You don't have to fight the hydraulics that run all over the engine bay.

If it seems to be more momentum-based (weight shifting), then check to make sure your camber / caster bolts are tight. I've had this problem more than once before.

And he has Finally spoken! Mike I thought you fell off the earth or something. Nice to see youre still around.

Also Cole I second what Mike said. I had the same problem my front camber bolt was loose and it would pop and make other weird sounds.

So during the last cruise I felt power loss from 3500-7500 towards the end of the cruise so I thought maybe the car was just getting hot. Anyway after the stop at the gas station and shutting the car off it felt fine all the way home. Fast forward a week and I feel like I have the same type of power loss driving to a meet. But on the way home from that meet it felt fine again. One of my plug wires was a little loose so I thought it was that maybe. Then the next day the exact same thing while driving to work. Low power between 3500-7500 and then that night coming home everything was fine.

So if anyone reads this give me ideas? I am thinking maybe my Cat is starting to get clogged or maybe one of the valves that open up higher in the RPM range are failing to work sometimes? Idk.

Hey, thanks for the welcome back! Yea, I've been way too occupied with work as of late unfortunately; hence the absence.
