Check that wire and see if it is loose again, and your coils are newer right? Those should be fine. It might be your cat, I expect to see mine feel a little smoother when I get this puppy on.

I checked all the bolts down there and couldn't find anything loose... Not really sure what it is. It is only when I turn the wheel left and it does it when I am not moving.

Drove the car tonight and everything was perfect. IDK hopefully it was just nothing.

I am for sure getting the BHR Midpipe withing a couple weeks. Should be just a tad bit louder and a deeper sound.

If you guys want to wait to put the parts on we can do an install day at my place. I doubt Cole wants to wait that long though.

So I ran the codes on my car today. I have a p0661 code which has to deal with the SSV valve solenoid. So sometime I will have to pull off my Upper Intake Manifold and clean and check all of those valves. Should be a fun project I guess.

If its not those then the Valve is stuck but I doubt its that since its only sometimes it happens. Should be a rather easy fix though.

Our ideas of a "fun project" are way different Adam. Good choice on the midpipe!
I'm gonna have the quietest exhaust hear once everyone gets there stuff installed.

I was being slightly sarcastic, but I do love to tear into the car and find out more about how it all works and where everything goes. So thats what the gun part is.

Apparently the BHR pipe only makes the exhaust slightly louder plus gives it a little deeper tone. ohh and the flames...

Nice Blue and Cool Rims

I had a question:
My Head unit Acting up
First it started with a CD Jamming BTW i got a 6-Speed Bose 6CD changer. So I follow the protocol of unplugging the battery didn't do nothing I was messing with the head unit face now the LCD display is gone and in this 1000 Degree weather the A/C is not cold you can only feel the fan blowing the green light doesn't come on for the A/C. I believe the face of the head unit is not aligned right to the connections it is suppose to go to. I was wondering how I can correct that and take care of that CD jam at the same time. In the long Run I am looking into changing the radio and putting a Touch screen there.

Pull the head unit out and make sure all the screws are tightened. I had a kind of similar problem a few months back.

Soo, anyone up for helping me install my midpipe and my amp this week? Maybe Saturday night?

Apparently these cars expect maintenance from time to time. So I guess after 2 years and 7500 miles I have to do something besides change the oil. Coils, plugs and wires on the way. Also, replacing my O2 sensor that has given me a CEL for the last year. Good time to do it as I plan on ordering an AP midpipe in the next couple of weeks so I can have no light on for at least a little bit.

I don't mind having such a loud car. Especially since I don't drive it 12,000 or 15,000 miles a year. Back in my day we didn't have resonators on our cars, and that's the way we liked it! Full 3-inch exhausts with no cats that we had to cover up with obnoxious stereos full of bass playing Coolio albums on strange shiny discs. I had an Integra with cams and full exhaust that I had to drive to school in the snow with no shoes on. Uphill both ways! --End Old Man Rant

Anyway, its pretty loud already and has some fun Rice Krispies style snap, crackle, and pops when I let off of the gas. On top of the rear O2 sensor throwing a code, I wonder how much of the cat is actually left intact. Gonna take it off within the next few days and go peeking inside. So I guess I'm doing a cat pipe, too. With no fun new stuff going on yet.

The ghost town has returned. Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th. I saw the biggest firework ever this morning. I was delivering papers and happened to be driving by and looking at the back of that house in Fenton as it exploded.

Also, I hate ordering anything from Amazon any more that isn't eligible for Prime. I have a pile of stuff for my 8 but no coils yet. I have a few hours set aside on both Saturday and Sunday and would hate to spend that time just sitting inside playing video games.

The fine people at the United States Postal Service saw fit to deliver my coils this afternoon. So I will be spending either Saturday or Sunday afternoon doin stuff. My wifey and youngen are leaving both days for 3 or 4 hours with stuff to do. Time to get dirty and use all those tools collecting dust in the garage.

The coils should only take you about an hour. they are pretty easy on our cars if you have the right tools. Extended 10mm socket will work wonders,
