Thanks for your concern guys. I'll be fine. Just tired of my car being a big red target. Of course every car I've ever had has been through this. My luck is the suck.

Its really sad because there's nothing you can do except sell your story to bondo body filler for a testimonial.
I hope the little jerk ends up in prison.

Saw a stationary 350Z slewing about on St. Charles Rock Rd today, blocking traffic, thankfully right behind the point where I merged in off Lindbergh. Looked like he could've used some sandbags... Or a tow truck.

Congrats on the purchase! You'll have to show her off a bit when the weather warms up and we find an excuse to get the other local 8'ers together for a meet-n-greet.

Oh crap!! I need to order my tires! I have to also get the suspension stripped before April 8th for the test & tune, then have the car all ready by the 15th (the first event of the season). Hopefully I can squeak out a first place for my birthday!
Anyone have a few hours they'd like to spend helping to take apart my suspension?

I'm up for it waterlogged, just not next weekend though. I figure I owe you some time in the garage, let alone the lunches you've spotted me during the down time I had.

Thanks guys. The next couple of weekends definitely won't be happening for me either. I'm right in the middle of championship swimming season and that's taking all my weekends. But I'll make sure to beg for your time either the second or third weekends in March.

There are two PDX (Performance Driving Experience) track days this summer. June 3rd and August 25th. Information can be found at www.stlscca.org. The cost for one is $225 and to do both is $385. I'll most likely be attending both.
There's also a bunch of autocrosses that several RX-8'ers and I will be hitting this year. More info can be found at www.stlsolo.org .
Hopefully we can have a meet and greet beforehand and we can all chat about what's in store for 2007.
Welcome!!!

The biggest problem I had with getting stuff on my car was when an early 90's Corvette blew a radiator hose right in front of me when I was trying to pass him. It made a mess of my windshield and the back half of the infield of the track got a bit slippery.
Otherwise the track is usually in pretty good shape. Just watch out for the little rough spot in the braking zone prior to turn 2. Scary fun!
