Make sure you notice how terets and I almost got lift-off with our front inside wheel. That should get even more dramatic this year for me as I will have a softer front bar and stickier tires. All in a good day's fun.
Great pics terets and "derby dame"!

Well, you're in luck! I'll be down in Cape the first weekend of May. I coach a swim team and will be headed down there. Otherwise feel free to come up anytime we finally get organized enough to get something together. Of course you can always head up for one of the autocrosses at Gateway!

I've updated the external DNS for that site and it should be working shortly. For those that don't know what that means... check here: http://www.landsharktech.com/terets

Keep an eye out on this for next weekend folks. https://www.rx8club.com/mw-rx-8-forum-31/st-louis-drive-april-28th-114036/
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, but it sounds like it should be a good time. I talked to one of the 350z guys this past weekend at the race and he said he might have a go at it as well.

Congrats LainO!
As far as work done on the car, I've done pretty much most of everything myself. If your car is still under warranty there's not much you'll need to have done to it other than oil changes and any warranty items. If you're looking to mod your car and have a garage, we can use that as an excuse to get the boys/girls together to help out. I've done quite a bit of stuff to my car (and others') since I got it in '05 and the car's stayed together through racing and what-not, so you don't have to worry... much.
One thing I'd recommend, if you have a manual, is to swap out the differential and tranny lubes for Redline or a similar synthetic. It makes everything smoother and you can have that warm and fuzzy feeling that it'll be taken care of. Other than that it's all personal preference.

There's several guys in St. Louis with different exhausts. Teretsboy has a Borla and fisherdn has an RX8Store or something like that. I've seen a couple others out there, too. The Borla has a more consistent sound across the rpm band and fisher's is a bit more throaty at the low end. I believe there's several videos posted here on the site and/or at the online store with clips of an 8 pulling away with each basic sound of the mufflers. Just forgot which. If you're looking for a lightweight option without going too loud, Racing Beat has a single can muffler that doesn't protrude through the bumper or you can go with one of the several titanium offerings out there.

I'm sure by now I am needing to change out my differential and tranny lubes. Waterlogged, you up for a garage day? I have no idea what I need to do this, but I remember watching you do it at Wim's. Think you could tell me what I need and help point a finger as to what needs to be done?

You'll need a pump, drain pan, two quarts each of transmission juice and diffy juice, replacement washers, and about an hour. I'd be more than happy to help out but won't be available until May 19th. That should give you plenty of time to get the goodies.
Anyone else interested?

Ok, what kind of "pump" am I looking for and is there a specific size of washers that I need? May 19th shouldn't be a problem. No rush, just want to know I have it planned on my to-do list.
