i hate when i come up with ideas of things i wanna do to my car cause then thats all i can think about. but anyway, im leaning towards all black alcantera on the seats, with red stitching and a custom rx8 logo in the middle of the seats, and then black alcantera on the door panels, painting the pillars, blacking out the headliner, and then painting the trunk pass through black with a custom rx8 logo. Im driving out to KC to get a passenger seat so that i can practice on that before i start on my actual seats. we will see though, if things go well i will try to knock out the seats this weekend and then do the rest of the interior the weekend after. anyone had any experience taking the front seats out? i hear its a PITA. I would love to get this done by an actual shop, but i dont have the money, and i love to learn how to do things first hand so down the road if i decide to go a different direction i can do so myself, but if anyone happens to know anyone thats done this before any info would be great!

also INGS +1 spoiler is on its way!

It's the brotherhood of the dragon meet. It was canceled this year and some guys are trying to get a substitute event together. It is in the smoky mountains on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina at the dragons tail. It is about a ten hour drive from here. The tail of the dragon is 318 curves in 11 miles, is America's number one motorcycle and sports car road. Go here to check out the road http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ This is also where they hold the Deals Gap Rotary Rally every year!

It's a three day event and I believe they are going to have activities planned for all of the days but like I said they are still trying to put it together. I was just out in NC last week and I drove through the mountains on the highway which I'm sure is not nearly as fun as the smaller roads and it is by far one of the best drives I have ever had in the 8. I am definitely going out there this year if this event happens or not.

I had a set of those same tires and I got stuck three times in the snow. one time was even out in front of my hose around mid night lol. I just got new tires about 1-2 ago so hopefully I will do better this winter. I would say get the all season or if you have the money get a winter set and a summer set. I am not a teen, but I am a poor college kid lol.

yea good luck with the rx8 in winter, its not the best thats for sure, when theres snow on the ground your better off to walk or take the bus/metro. (not sure how big wash u is) but if you have to drive i would say get a set of winter tires and wheels, ive heard some good things about the tires twiztid talks about.

if you can walk buy some ultra performance tires and if theres any signs of snow or bad weather leave the car at home ha ha. thats what i did. i also dont trust the students at Mizzou driving anywhere near my car in snow.

It's still a long ways away from Oct 4 but I'm gonna tentatively say count me in since it's on a Sunday, hopefully nothing comes up.
