St. Louis dealership workers anyone?
Does anyone that hangs out/posts here work at a Mazda dealership? I'm needing to get a newer flash for my '05 and don't really know what it'll take other than just taking the risk and getting either turned down and slapped with a "hell no" or a nice tech that'll offer a big "hell yeah!" Just not sure if this is a common request or a warrantable thing.

Good question, waterlogged and while we're at it, I need something called a grill gaurd - its a skinny plastic part that fits around the mouth of the grill. I keep getting paint chipped off on the top edge of the grill opening and I'm not sure I'll ever learn where the front of the car is. I went to a dealership and asked about it and they looked at me like I had two heads. But I saw it in a brochure that Mazda sent me.
Anyone know anything about it, and who will put one on ?

Are you possibly referring to what's commonly called a car bra? I've seen a couple 8's in the area that have them. They're more vinyl than plastic, though. I've also heard of people getting that treatment (I believe made by 3M) where they put an entire sheet of plastic or something on the hood and other easily chipped places on the car. Kind-of like that stuff back by the rear wheels.
There might be something in the "show and shine" section of the forums.
As for the scratches you have now... this link is a great reference on how to get rid of them: http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=27
