It looks as if a group of us may be deciding on a monthly St. Louis meet to be held on the first Sunday of every month. Probably having a meet time around noon, however, that is yet to be decided. The time and place is still up in the air. All feedback is welcome on deciding on the location.

I have been talking with some members of the rx7 forum and was figuring in south county since the meet was closer to maryland heights area last time. Hot shots was thrown in the air which is a pretty good idea for something to do after we eat. The parking lot doesn't need to be big as from what I gather most of us are pretty much stock. I was thinking around 12 ish (I need to get the okay from work to leave early but that shouldn't be a problem)....

I figure save the bbq/cruise for september as it will start to get a little cooler and tolerable to stand outside all day-but that can be planned all later.

EDIT: Of course the date I figure would be the seveth of August (Sunday).

I'll have more to show off on the car by the time this meet ever comes around. I just ordered a Racing Beat REVi intake today and I'm going to be looking into getting some oil/ac screens. Not sure I want to purchase pre-fabricated ones or do the baseballgenius method. I haven't had much luck in the past messing with bending and cutting metal. Also I figure since I need to take the bumper off to get the intake on anyway, it would be a good time to get the grills installed as well.

Sorry modena. I opted away from the exhaust for today. I'll be getting a bonus at work next week so maybe then.

So, just out of curiousity, if we are planning on meeting at Hot Shots for our August meet, where exactly is this place? And just to make sure, we are still planning on meeting up at noon on August 7th for that, right?

I've been checking out the forum here since I got my 8 a month and change ago.
I didn't even think to see if the STL was representing here! I'll try to make the
Hot Shots thingy next month. I have a friend that's a waitress there that I
haven't seen for a while so it gives me an excuse to say hey.

We'd love to have you. My first time going to one of these was a few weeks ago. Not a lot of people showed, but the ones that did were great people and we had a fun time. Hopefully with a regularly scheduled date more people will leave their calendars open and plan around it.

I'm with you on the lottery thing. Mortgage, car payment, social life, etc. tend to want my modding money. I guess it's a matter of priority. I don't need to eat so here comes that turbo! :D

We probably need to firm up a location as we are only 2 weeks away. I am not real familiar with south county so I don't really have any suggestions. Are we looking for a restaurant?

I'm thinking Hot Shots in South County was the general consensus. So unless anyone squawks about that let's just count on it. Apparently some of the RX7Club.com guys were headed over, too. I think the idea is to rotate counties and the decision for South County this time was because a lot of the RX-7 guys live out that way. But what do I know... "Mongo only pawn in game of life."

I got approved to leave work a little early so 1200 is good for me or even 1130. Figure grab a bite to eat-then kick everyones butt in pool. J/K Im alright at pool, nothing to brag about.
