I'll look you guys up at the PDX, I don't know if I'll bring the RX-8 out, but my wife and step-son will be driving. I've got quite a few laps around Gateway in my RX-8 and will be glad to help out any way I can. If I don't find you first look for a silver Mazdaspeed Miata and possibly a silver RX-8 both with "Tuxedo Park Racing" decals.
By the way I'll make a more detailed post when it gets closer, but we will probably be having a rotary event of sorts at the shop July 1st. Steve Kan is coming back to tune a bunch of RX-7's on the dyno the first and second, and we'll have a keg or two on hand and hang out and watch fireworks (the shop is right across the river from downtown and has good view of the festivities).
Last tuning session Eric Cheatham's third gen was the "big power" winner with 602 at the wheels, should be a good time.

I would actually like to get in touch with someone who knows what they're doing regarding tuning an e-manage. I've done a little bit with a g-tech and get mixed results. A more knowledgeable person and a dyno would make things much easier. Do you all do that out there at your shop?

I don't personally have experience tuning e-manage, but I do have a dyno and wideband O2 available and know how to read the charts, so no doubt we can get you straightened out, just give us a call at the shop if you'd like to set something up.
If you want to get it tuned by a specialist, you ought to consider hooking up for the July 1/2 tuning session, I'm sure there's still space available. I can definitely vouch for Steve K as an expert tuner, and we have the best dyno equipment in town. There's a thread about it here:

Thanks,

Hell, how about everyone just get their butts to the race Sunday and show those 350z's what 8's can do out there. I know I'll be duking it out with the STis in STU class. I'm a bit underpowered but try to make up for it in skill and sheer insanity.
Those of you who haven't done anything to your cars have a better chance against the 350z in B-stock, but there's some fast guys out there (Chris Hammond et al.) on race tires. Go get 'em!

There's a "party in the park" thing going on today at shaw park. Its got tons of booze and a live band. here's the website: http://www.partiesinthepark.org/location.asp we could meet up there

I'm afraid my dance card is booked for the evening so I can't make it to party at the park. When is "party at the plaza"? That's usually on one of the Thursdays each month at West Port.
About the autocross... sign-ups are at the event. I tend to show up super early (7:30am) just to get a good pick of heat/working assignment and to get things in order for the day. Plus I tend to need as many walks through the course as possible.

In case some people on this thread didn't see it, we are pretty much all communicating on the "St. Louis 8 owners" thread now. There is a small group of us autocrossing at gateway on sunday so come on out to race or just watch.
