St. Louis owners... do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

I need to hear some of these in person. I know this thing needs something although I'm definitely not a fan of the fart can, those high-pitched lawnmower exhausts are out of the question. From what I heard in a clip on youtube, the Borla sounds decent. I'd buy it if there weren't concerns with fitment. So, I'm open to options. I need to hear them in person before I take the plunge and as of yet, I have never come across an RX8 with aftermarket exhaust.
I live in west county... anyone around?

I live in south city, but grew up in Ballwin and I do go there quite often. My 8 has RX7 store exhaust (magnaflow mufflers, but sold by rx7store.com). I've had it for about a year and like it. Gives a good deep note without being too loud. Some of the other STL 8 owners can give a less biased opinion of my exhaust!

TerretsBoy has Borla exhaust and lives near me in Shrewsbury. We need to plan a get together so you can hear this stuff. I'd almost rather you drive your Z06!

Based on comments from owners across the forum, it seems like a lot of the aftermarket exhausts sound pretty good as long as you keep the factory cat in place. Add in a test pipe, or even a race cat and the sound of many of the exhausts get loud and annoying. Does TerretsBoy still have the stock cat in place with his Borla? I know the Borla has been reported to sound pretty bad with a test pipe in place, but pretty nice otherwise. The Borla is also one of the few 3" exhausts though if you are looking at FI. I currently have an RP supercat on mine, but running the factory exhaust still and would love to hear some aftermarket exhaust first hand as well.

Not sure if you were there that day at Wim's or not, Fisher, but I remember when we were working on my exhaust and had it dropped prior to the cat.....man, that thing sounded mean. I know Bill and I were chuckling about the sound it put out.
