you really did get a lot better throughout the weekend.

They did really help quite a bit. being able to corner that much flatter gives you a lot more confidence that the car is going to stick. I think I'll need to put a lit more aggressive alignment on there and get some more negative camber to take full advantage of them.

I've never met anyone that came out their first day and decided they didn't enjoy it.

I can probably get everything apart, putting it back together will be the trick... I'm not in any big rush to get it on there, especially since I think most of our hot weather is behind us until next summer.
I'm game if you are. I am really curious to take a look at the new pump in person. Did you see that the Mazsport guys put up dynos from before and after the pump install?

No TT or race groups gave us a TON of time on track. 5 sessions/day, 1 of which being a 35 minute "mini-enduro". I got signed off to group 2 after 2 sessions the first day. Got over 200 track miles for the weekend, great weather. Couldn't have asked for more. Missed you, Al and devildog out there though. We'll have to do it up more next season.

I will deffinitly be there next season.

What did you end up goin with for new tires?
Kumoh MX's 245/40.

I got my baby back today. Looks perfect, and they gave me two tickets to the UW game this weekend

I bet if this would of happened anywhere other then my job parking lot they wouldn't have been so accommodating. Regardless they did good by me.

Lately I have been hearing a rattling sound when my rear hits a bump. So today I put my car on ramps and checked underneath. All seemed nice and tight, what I did find is that if I hit both exhaust canisters they sound as if there are small pieces of metal in there. It's the same sound I hear when I go over bumps or pot holes. I'm guessing this is not normal? Any Ideas?

I guess you have poven why buying MazdaSpeed and installing at a dealer was a good idea.

What do you think is the problem? It's under warrenty until November so if I have MS replace I need to get this done asap. Don't think they will the removal and install, only the part.

I don't know specifically what it would be but if there is something rattling around inside, I know thats not right. Maybe whatever they have used for baffling has come loose??

The 3 picture bursts are pretty cool...

Quick question. I started a thread on it but have yet to get an answer. Lately I have been hearing a rattling sound when my rear hits a bump. So last week I put my car on ramps and checked underneath. All seemed nice and tight, what I did find is that if I hit both exhaust canisters they sound as if there are small pieces of metal in there. If the baffles have broken inside the muffler can this pose any issues?

didn't we already talk about that?

Only issue I can think of is possibly hampering flow. Aren't those things still under warranty?

Just so happens that I drove 14K since I installed them 10 months ago
All that damn driving to and from Chicago as well as tyhe tracks. As long as its not to bad I'll just wait till spring to replace it. Is there a chance I can just replace the mufflers?

and its a mileage limited warranty? thats ****** lame. I thought your dealer really liked you?

he cant fudge the numbers for you? You spent enough money with him on all that MS stuff he should be bending over backwards for you!

Should really hurt too much. May be able to just unbolt it and get what ever is loose to come out?? not have to replace it then?

You just brought up a good point. The dealer installed it so they have the mileage on the slip. Now, if I do it myself I can tell them what ever mileage instalation was at. How complicated do you think it is to replace it myself? or I may just do what you said and unbolt then turn the **** upside down and shake the hell out of it. I also need to call them and see what is the whole process for replacement.

What do you mean rears? I just looked up the DIY for the MS exhaust it looks like I just need to unclamp the canisters from the midpipe then remove off the hangers. I'll do this on Saturday and see if I can shake that lose **** out.
