Hi All:

With just over six weeks until our June 2nd track day at Autobahn Country Club’s (near Chicago) full 3.56 mile road course, we are nearly 2/3 full. If you'd like to join us for either Autobahn event (the second Autobahn track day is August 18th) or any other MVP Track Time track day in 2008, visit us at:

http://www.MVPTrackTime.com/id47.html

Don't hesitate to contact me at Feffman@MVPTrackTime.com if you have any questions. Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at the track!

Interested, but the Monday following that weekend I have a final so I am going on hiatus that weekend.

I am going to try to hit Gingerman at least once in the next 3-4 weeks and I am planning on doing Putnam with NASA the weekend of May 17-18.

You have PM

I'll probably do the NASA Gingerman event. The drive out there sucks for me.

Are you sure it is open to other makes? Normally I see pretty much any German car club is closed to other marques.

I used to work corners for Ferrari, Porsche & BMW clubs. The Ferrari Club was open only to Ferrari's. The Chicago Porsche Club was, at that time, open only to Porsche's. The Milwaukee Club was open to other makes. BMW Club was open to other makes.
Now, that said, this was 10 yrs ago.

~1000-1500 miles. I would dump the fluid after that and put some good stuff in too.

I wouldn't call the weekend off, if it were me/my trans, but I would get some miles on it first and be super gentle on the shifts.

When are you picking it up?

I think tomorrow. I can probably put about 200 miles on it before Saturday. The good thing about Blackhawk is that it's mainly a third gear track.
