Yep. first time south.
I had some asado, lomito, choripan, chimichurri, pizza (way different that what we consider pizza up here ), and a host of other things that i don't remember the names of.
I want to build a asador now instead of having a gril
My wife and i might start seriously consider opening an lomito and choripan restaurant at some point because i liked it so much and there's no one in Cincy doing it.

Fuz, get a roach coach and get a permit for downtown Cincy. Could get a great lunch crowd during the week and then after hours for the drunks coming out of the bars. I heard that the city was expanding the mobile food vendors licenses. Come Saturday AM, park it at Fuel and serve chorizo and eggs for breakfast.
Speaking of, anyone going down this saturday? It will be open from what i hear I may pull the 8 back out of the barn since it's supposed to be relatively warm. Whether i i wash it first is another thing.
maybe i can try some chorizo and lomito out on you guys for meet/grillout at my place in the spring.

A roach coach is on my list of ideas to start out. The Fuel idea is stellar

I have plans on Saturday so I won't make Fuel. I hear it's going to be 47 or so out by afternoon.

Fuz if you do the chorizo, lomito and choripan thing count me in! (cook out, roach coach, restaurant, whatever!)
And I'm telling you a good Argentinian restaurant profitable anywhere in the world! I'll be your best client!! HAHA!
I may show to fuel if its open....

From what cincysportscar.com says, it will be open this saturday.
Not sure if i'll be there in the 8, but i'll be there.
She didn't want to start this morning after sitting for 3 weeks. Slow to crank, so it's probably new battery time. Sadly, it's probably flooded now as a result too
I might just take this a sign to start tearing **** apart and get going on my winter plans.
Thanks earevalo, I'll definitely do a spring meet and cook up some Argentinian goodness.

Well good news is my 8 is back up and running. I took it in for an alignment yesterday and the camber adjusters on the front and rear are seized. So the camber is still off...I hate how corroded the bottom of my car is.

I think your 8 was stored in a salt mine for 12 months. I'm hearing bad things about Mazda rust. My friends MS6 is rusting all over the body in unusual places for a late model car.

I stopped over at the Wheel Doctor today. 100 bucks to fix the rim rash. 400 bucks to paint them and fix the one rim with the rash. I'm thinking about getting them painted Anthracite. I looked at the paint there and it isn't completely black, but sort of dark gray with some metallic flecks in it. I'm going to do some photoshop work to simulate the paint color before pulling the trigger. No hurry to get them done since I'm not going to put the summer tires on until the end of March or so.
Still thinking about the springs though. Just not sure which ones to buy. I'm a wuss.

Good luck with the sale

Good luck with your wheels!
Likewise with the springs but think I am leaning towards the Moete's advice and just going with the coil overs.

^ If I could only have one mod on my car it would be a set of Ohlins DFV. Suppose to have a great ride/handling compromise. Of course, if it was a track car only, Moton, or Fat Cats would be nice as well.
Mazdax3, that is a good price for that. I think your car will look so much better with the darker color on the rims.
So I guess Fuel is going to be open tomorrow. I guess I need to drag out the 8 and give her a bath.

Moete, I don't have one, but I think you can rent one from AutoZone or Advance for almost nothing, but with a deposit.
If not, I would buy one of these
http://www.harborfreight.com/macpher...-set-3980.html
Note: Some people have been able to take their coils off without using any compression, but I had to use one the first time I had my S-tech's installed. I guess if you want to risk not using one, it's up to you - but I am not telling you that you should.
I would help you but I have to be back at the house at noon for some furniture delivery, and to pick up the wife. GLW the install.

When are you planning to do it? I have a relatively busy day tomorrow, but i can swing by sunday to lend a hand if i'm not puking up new years festivities.

If you're not impatient, use the compressor on the fronts at least. If you want to test how fast you can drop a wrench without losing a finger, go without
You won't need them to put them back on if you have an extra set of hands, it's even easier.

fronts are the easy ones. Take the top two a-arm bolts out. Take the bottom bolt out of the shock and the three off up top. I usually take one end of the end links off, but you might be able to do with out if the whole front is off the ground.
Push down on the lower a-arm and pull the upper one out of the frame, the whole assembly should basically fall out and towards you.

I've alway pulled the two rear links (upper and lower) from the hub and wrestled the assembly out through everything. With Dan's i got sick of effing with it, so i took the two top links off at the frame (similar to the front a-arm) and it went much smoother. Like the front, i always have taken off one end of the end links, but you may be able to do it without. You have to pull the carpet in the rear to get to all of the bolts. There are the two main ones that are horizontal, and two vertical ones at the base of the shock top. There is one that you have to get to from the wheel well from underneath as well. I always forget about that damn one.
For the front, you'll have to compress the suspension before you tighten the upper a-arm bolts (with it compressed). In the rear you'll have to do it as well if you take the links apart at the frame. if you take the links off at the hub you won't have to. This is to preload the suspension bushings.
I usually just put the juck under the knuckle/hub and lift it up until the car is barely off of the jack stands, then tighten the bolts that need tightened.

Here are my results for my Lowe's special SOHN adapter oil reservoir modified with a oil level indicator from a Kawasaki jet ski. It is impossible for me to have a decent paint job it seems but this only temporary until next fall.
