You live in Mason Atredeus? We thought about moving there when we came back from CA but the property tax was 2X what Hamilton Township was at the time. Now I'm not too sure.
I'm glad we're having a warm winter. At least the gas/electric hasn't been that bad so far. I probably could have kept the summer tires on too.

And somehow the gas bill has remained about even with last year... even with the warmer weather. Haha

Heading back to work this evening, I'll see everyone when I get back. They're sending me to a different ship and I am fairly certain the guy I'll be relieving will have been stuck on there way over his time, so no idea right now how long I'll be gone.

Just got my property tax bill from Warren Co. Since the Little Miami bond issue finally passed, my property tax jumped $950 per year. Kids needing an education is overrated.
I hope they don't reappraise my house. Since 2002, my property tax has doubled. Time to move back to California.

Hello. Yes, another newbie Saying that, it is yet another very happy newbie!
OK, now the formalities are aside..
I have owned Nissan's for a long time now, probably close to the last 20 years and have always had very good luck with reliability etc. for all of them. So much so I have never really considered the possibility of owning another "brand", unless it was the RX-8. The 8 has always sparked my interest as far as other cars go. October and November I got the urge to go and do something about it!
I did a bunch of research, both here in the club and elsewhere to find out as much as I could. Yes, I am am aware of their "opportunity areas" which made me think that a newer version may be my option. Yes, had to pay a bit more but figured having a few months and 4k on the bumper to bumper would be a good thing to make sure I can take care of any of the niggling little things (if any arose) while I could. I had driven a few and could tell the differences between them and figured this may be a safer bet.
I picked up my '08 back in December, did not get to drive it much at all for the first month or so because of being out of town for work but have been putting a few more miles on it lately. Isn't this just an incredible little car? I have a Ti Grey 2008. Purchased it at a dealer which I typically don't do but the whole deal was extremely smooth and amazingly painless! Things have definitely changed a lot since I last purchased a car at a dealership!
Details; It is a 2008 GT, I put in an icarkit which works pretty well. I have a set of Pirelli sport/snow tires on ASA V2 rims. Have not got to test them out in the snow yet but you all know that based on all the FREAKING RAIN we've had ... It is an absolute blast to drive, puts a smile on my ugly mutt every morning and afternoon. Yeah, daily driver Probably not going to do a whole lot to it though.

So, I have seen a few 8's running around recently, particularly one in West Chester (Silver). Hope to get to meet you all one day.
Cheers,

^ from the quote I got from my wreck, it seems to fix my rocker panel, it's 6 hours of $46 body labor so around $250 is for mine.
That's without paint, just fixing it.
I don't know what the extent of your damage is/sounds to be not as drastic as mine, probably cheaper.

POPPADENT specializes in Dents that be fixed with out a paint job folllow up. Parking lot dings and bumps are his common jobs - while you wait. A tree limb fell on daughter's 230 SLK and it looked pretty bad - but there wasn't a "crease" in the dent - so Mike fixed it for about $70.00. Call him abd see what he says - he even travels to you if needed.

Welcome!!! and like Fuz said... if you like it now, wait for spring or summer you'll see how good the "attraction" is...

I've seen a blue S2 a couple times heading down 75S on my way to work. It always gets off at 275W while I go 275 E. Also just saw a yellow S1 cruising around the other day, turned into a neighborhood near mine.
Yes, I'm sorta stalkerish about other 8s. Don't judge me.

Cool, thanks for the welcome.
Yes, apparently it is Galaxy Gray! (32s) It was listed as Ti Gray and so was another I looked at back in November! Guess I did not do my homework very well huh!
I have the stock rims and summer tires as well. Got to drive those a little before I put these winter Pirelli's on (which I got for a huge bargain ($450 ASA V2 rims and tires). Turns out I don't need them this year.
Yeah had a few Nissan's, started with a "1984 Bluebird". It was imported into New Zealand from Japan. 1800cc turbo, twin ignition, multi point injection. It was a fun car. Rear wheel drive as well. Since I have been in the US, Ive had a 240SX and a few Maxima's. Still have a '98 which doesn't see much use these days.
