Just ordered (1) clearance rear Bilstein Firehawk 400/200 valved road race shock from Jason at Paragon... it's too late to turn back now
plan doesn't change much just have to run a 30mm bar instead of the 29mm. Probably end up just getting my fronts revalved to match 400# hypercoils. I think I'm in business. Well, at least one shock at a time.

I'll try to be at Fuel about 9:15 a.m. before the huge crowd, lol. My car is a hot mess right now though because I am going to be redoing the rims and wing but hey, at least it is running

Wife and I made the 14 hour drive to Daytona. Saw another R3 (VR) during the Continental Tire race. Hit 75 here today. Why do we live in Cincinnati again?

'Cause it's such a lovely place.
I have a nice 4 port 13B sitting in my garage, along with a two piece intake mani for my Dell'Orto and a header that looks like it will mate up to my existing Rotary Engineering exhaust. Sweet!

I think so. Did the news ever show this morning?
Replaced the coolant reservoir on the 8. What a PITA! Five minute job on the Miata, took about an hour and a half on this one since you have to pull so many things out to get access. Kevin, you'll be glad to know I didn't break the nipple on the radiator (I see what you meant about it though).

Well Lady and Gentleman, some of you may have seen via FaceBook, the RX8 has been retired from DD Duty. I wasn't ready to pull the 2nd transmission out of it, along with the other things it needs so I went and bought something else instead. The RX8 is still driveable, but I don't know for how long, and I needed something reliable for a DD.
Sooooo, without further adieu, here is my 2005 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4X4. It's no sports car, but I like it, and I'm getting better mileage from the truck than I was the 8 -_-

The 8 may get fixed eventually, but for now it'll be taking residence over at my parents' place, until I get the urge to drive it, or until I decide what will happen with it.
I do have a nice sub setup for sale though, if any of you are interested![Wink](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I second that. Since I lost my 8 I can live vicariously through you by upgrading yours!
On another note I still have my Tein hood dampers, my Xcarlink iPod connector, and both my regular floor mats and my rubber winter mats if anyone is interested. Carpets go free to whoever calls dibs and the dampers and Xcarlink ill let go for cheap.

Love the engine shots Chief! Sexy - I still have the 7's bridge port 12a in the back of Mikes car, lol....gotta get an engine hoist and get it onto the engine stand one of these days.
NewGuy - why could you not have a Cobb AP to sell >:-(
This warm weather makes me want to go out and cruise - damn being sick still sucks though.

I wish I had the Miata to enjoy this nice weather with, but at least I was finally able to start the clutch job today. Managed to let the breaker bar slip while removing the PPF, couldn't catch my hand before it contacted one of the frame rail reinforcement pieces I have. Instant pain, I wrapped it to stop the blood without really looking at it. A while later I took a look and found I split the nail right across. Did manage to get the new flywheel and clutch installed, only to find out the flywheel torque values were wrong in the engine manual so I have to take it off tomorrow and redo the bolts.

Tact, I'm the original thread killer. I can't tell you how many times across various forums I've posted something to have that be the last for weeks. It happens, people get busy and don't come to the forum.
I've been busy lately getting the Miata back together, not quite there but close. I'll be at Fuel tomorrow in the Speed, giving a local guy my old flywheel etc.

>chief,
I couldn't make it to the fuel today. it's a chinese new year, and my wife is making dumpling, spring roll, etc for my parents. so I stayed home doing some electrical wiring I was putting aside for a while..
>BBRX8,
let's do it! I can use some more rolling on mine as I want to fit 255, and with my current offset, it may rub... let me know when you are planning on renting, and i'll chip in the cost. so are we having house warming (or more like garage warming) party soon?
