tRide height looks good Mike, should keep here from scraping everything.
James, the 994 looks great. Nice re-finsh on the wheels, and it's a good stance for the car.![Bigok](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/bigok.gif)
Since you two are side profile pics, here's mine too. It's safe to say that I tuck the most tire. lol I'm sitting at a pretty typical track ride height though.

I love your era BMWs. The lines are great, especially on the 5 series. I'd like to have one of those if I could find one that wasn't beaten to death.
In other news, we are coming home a day early so I'm signed up for the fun event autocross on Sunday.

Need is a strong word. I showed Robyn, she was eh. I like the black one, except it's black and in my mind a lot of miles for the money. Plus I'd hate to buy something like that only to find I'm the sucker who has it fall apart/require a ton of repairs shortly after purchase. I just don't know anything about BMWs to have enough confidence in something like that.

Here you go Mike. Price is a little high, but I have seen the car several times. It's super clean, and the Atlas Gray is such an awesome color. Wife was the one who told me about it, and keeps pointing it out every time we drive by it LOL.
They have been mislabeling this one first as a 4s, and still as a 40th. This is not a 40th anniversary edition, although it's a rare color.

Probably is. If this car wasn't half-way around the world... I'd be looking at it. Only 500 made.
2003 Used Mercedes-Benz CL55 2dr Cpe 5.5L AMG at Infiniti of Mission Viejo, CA, IID 11009418
I know, I know, the transmission alone would cost all my appendages. But it has a clean serviced history and this car was over 100k new. Motor Trend tested the 2003 CL55 AMG at 0-60 in 4.27 and 12.38 @114.45 1/4 mile. This car was also "de-limited" to 187mph.

Well my weekend is shot. Was all set to do a Miata cruise tomorrow, and an autocross on Sunday. While driving today experienced the same stutter as I have, pulled the plugs and coolant in cylinder 4 again. Life is not so good right now.

GOOD luck Steve, I take it the S2 is going in with it for trade?
FUEL was INSANE Saturday. Arrived late, and there was awesome cars everywhere. I can't believe how many nice and rare cars were there.
Had to park all the way down the street... as I was leaving the nicest 944 turbo I have ever seen pulls up behind me on Kellogg. Chatted with him at the light. Super nice '88 Turbo S in white, just installed 350hp Lindsey kit, as evidenced by the heavy smell of silicone. I will tell you the sound of two heavily boosted 944's sounded epic echoing off the buildings downtown. We tagged up with a 996 Turbo going over the bridge for a little bit.
Guy with the 944 Turbo S got off at Buttermilk Pike, so I assume he lives somewhere in Villa Hills. Stunning car, and amazing he is the original owner too!

Yeah, Fuel has been crowded like that most of the summer. I would say the last 6 or 7 nice saturdays have had really good turnouts and not just a parking lot full of barely modded subarus and daily drivers. I like how you show up on the rare occasion that i miss one.

Just the head again. Jimmy measured too much clearance on the exhaust side of #4 cylinder so that was the problem. Seems weird as the only problem was when I torqued it the first time and had that piece of wiring harness trapped between the head and block. I find it hard to believe that would be enough to twist the head, but maybe it was.

Smart ***. Trust me, I only have to make that sort of mistake once to learn. Last time I put the head on I made abso-posilutely sure there was nothing anywhere in the area to get trapped.

I own a BMW. Never thought I would. The 8 will go up for sale next week or so. If the weather is decent I'll bring it to fuel on Saturday.
Mike, I still own two Mazdas so I'm not too jaded yet. It could have been worse and I bought an Audi. Lol.

Congratulation Steve. I like how everyone keeps saying it could have been worse, and listing a German car. What about, say, a Cadillac?
Proof that some folks are morons: 87 Mazda RX 7 Cylinder Head 196906 | eBay
The listing does say it's for a rotor housing if you read through it. Why not put that in the title?

Congrats on the new ride Steve, can't wait for the spring install.
Mike, yes that picture is moronic, the verbiage makes it even worse.
I have been seriously contemplating a new daily driver... from Europe. Probably won't be 'til next year though. I must be crazy to want to own TWO German cars. I should be a good little boy and just buy a GS430 for my dd duties or something like that LOL.

I'm in Peoria on biz. Back to Chicago Weds to pick it up. They had to get a second key in from bmw and I'm doing my work thing until then.
James, the stock M Sport bits will do for now. I don't want to see you hurt again.

That was a joke Steve, the 135i will run circles around almost anything on the road in stock form... which you will soon find out.
I never thought you would buy a German car as you were always so adamant about the cost of repairs and such. I know,,, it scares me too. I have been looking at (gulp) 2005 Mustang GT's for daily drivers as a result. I just can't bring myself to buying one yet as I didn't care for my brother's 2007 Roush too much. I have also thought about the GTO as you can get one reasonably cheap now. CTS-V's are still a little outta reach for me financially. I realize you gotta pay to play and I guess I got used to having the power, but I don't want to deal with heavy repair costs for cars out of warranty.
Anybody have any suggestions for cars in the 10k range? Fast and fun?
