Steve, I will have pics up this weekend. There is a huge dyno meet up in CBUS tomorrow and so I will get some pics of that and of my car.
I will be down for a meet. But I will be gone from May 22-31st. I will be in Charleston, SC. So Anytime after that or before that I can do it.

Unfortunately, my girlfriend's sister graduates from U of Illinois on the 17th, and then my sister graduates high school in Illinois on the 31st, so I am not available either of those weekends. I might be able to make it to something on the 16th, but it'd have to be early.
I'll try to make sure I keep up to date on what's going on.

Does anyone here autocross? I'm looking into getting started in B stock this summer and wanted to know if I would see any of you there. If so, any advice/ pointers are welcome. Thanks.

^^ sounds cool, I might have to make it out to that one. I just did my first event yesterday. It was freaking awesome!! I'm so hooked now, even though I suck, LOL. But seriously it was so much fun and everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful. I had a great time.

My offer still stands - I'll bring an extra can of seafoam if someone is willing to help me with mine! I am done with graduations now (for the record, watching 453 high school seniors graduate when the person you are there for goes FIRST is probably the 6th level of hell), so I should be pretty much available any time in the evenings and weekends.

Finally test fitted my bumper
I finally got off my but and fitted my front bumper. I had to file, sand, drill holes and make brackets. It was tons of fun without instructions
Here are some pics.
I still need to get it painted. But now I can get some quotes.
BTW I think I need to raise my car. It is now very difficult to get into my driveway!

How to seafoam! My step by step
^
Looking good Paul !
I haven’t been here in ages, I hope you guys keep having meets and not letting the CINCY/NKY rx8 community die… I’ve seen like lots of 8s these days.
Anyhow since I am no longer an active member here I though I will leave you guys a bit of what I have learned about sea foam in the past few years owning an 8.
I hope this helps anyone interested in doing this.
I am not responsible for your actions/damages that may occur!! In all my time of using Sea Foam and hearing others experience on it, the worst that has come out of this was a CEL that was easily cleared... If done correctly, nothing bad will result in the use of " Sea Foam."
Since there has been alot of talk in the past about this Sea Foam, I have decided to help out as much as possible for those interested in having a clean rotary.
What does " Sea foam " do?
Sea foam can be used for a lot of things... It can be used as a fuel system cleaner, a combustion chamber cleaner and also a crankcase cleaner.
You first have to obtain a can of this so called Sea Foam You can get it at a few locations. The place most likely to have it in stock when you walk in the door is NAPA Auto Parts... Others say they have obtained it through other places such as AutoZone and Pep Boys. There are three forms of Sea Foam
1) Regular liquid canned form
2) A spray can form
3) A transmission fluid additive
You may use the first two for what we are going to do but it is preferred to get 2 of the regular cans. I believe they are about 16 ounces or so...
The first two steps are pretty self explanatory. Take 1 full can of Sea foam and dump it into your gas tank... It is preferred that you do this while filling up at the gas station so the mixture isn't too strong.... Also when you are filling up your car, the gas will mix up the Sea foam in the tank as much as possible. Try to fill the tank up all the way... This is fairly important because of what is going to happen next...
(This is Optional)
You will take the other can, and pour only HALF of this into the crankcase (engine oil.) The reason you do this at the fill up for gas is due to the fact that this will thin the oil out and also clean up most of the gunk in your engine and you don't want that gunk in there with thin oil for too long... So you will change your oil at the end of this tank of gas. It is very important you do so or major damage to the engine may occur if you use Sea foam for over 500 miles before the oil change...
The next steps should be done directly before the oil change....
Combustion Chamber Cleaning Directions
You need to take off the engine cover for access to the vacuum lines that you will feed the Sea foam through. You want to try and find a large vacuum line that will feed as much as possible... Here is the one I chose... The one attached to the brake booster.
Don’t puncture the hose and remove...
You can also use the vacuum line that feed the throttle body...
Next you want to use the vacuum line to suck sea foam out of a bowl... You will be able to feel the vacuum when you start the vehicle. Here comes the part where you may need two people... You and someone in the car to hold the throttle around 3k rpm...
Crank the engine over, and hold at 3k rpm...
Start sucking up the sea foam through the vacuum line... The car will want to die but don't let it... As soon as ALL of the sea foam is sucked up, shut the car off immediately and cover your finger over the line end or kink the line... The car may want to continue to run, but will shut off within about 10 seconds...
Connect the vacuum line back up... Let the car sit for about 15 to 25 minutes... The longer the better but try not to wait more than a half an hour...
Start the car back up and watch the smoke show!!! Give it a while to burn up the sea foam still inside... Then after about 10 minutes, take it for a drive and do a few WOT passes.... That should get any residual out of the intake manifold....
Now that you have done all of that, go out and change your oil if you opted to use sea foam in your crankcase (the optional part)!! If you get a CEL, It’s normal and it will go away in a few days.

Steven, that helps a lot. I think I can handle getting it into the gas tank
The one question that still remains, which vacuum line is the brake booster line? I know this is a noob question, but I am terrified I'll use the wrong one. If I knew which it was, I could easily get this done myself (with an assist from my GF).
And yes, I'd like to get a meet or something set up soon, just to finally get to put some faces to the forum names.
