It was apparently dark, but said it's silver so maybe SS or TiGrey.
anyways, thank you for passing him and making a fool of himself

I would say it was my wife, but she was home last night.
I'll probably be at Fuel tomorrow. Have a couple of minor new mods to the Miata. One of these days we'll bring the 8 again, hard though when the weather is nice as the Miata is too damn much fun!

Hey folks, just got a demo 2010 RX-8 GT manual tranny the other day. I'd thought I'd jump in and introduce myself. Current owner of three Mazdas and just traded my 2006 Speed6 in for the Liquid Silver GT. I live northern Cincy near Kings Island.
I've been a fan of the 8 for some time and finally pulled the trigger. I had it on a trip to Columbus the other day and turned off the sat radio just to listen to the engine. Not impressed about gas mileage, but I knew that going in. You have to pay to play and it seems worth it.
I do photography on the side and probably will do some pics of the 8 pretty soon. A couple examples of the Grand Am RX-8's I've taken at Mid Ohio and VIR. I'll hopefully be headed to VIR in May for the GrandAm race. Let me know if anyone else is going.

Not too far from 19. About 6 miles. I'm actually closer to the Western Row exit. Right turn onto Western Row and through a lot of hard turns. That is my typical test track road testing cars.
There's some good backroads between Morrow and Lebanon too. Most of them follow the Little Miami River.

I've driven a good portion of the roads east of the city pretty much out to Portsmouth and Chilicothe. Some of the roads up around Lebanon and Morrow are fantastic as well.
I'm in the planning stages of a poker run and car show for charity. It will most likely be in July. I'll keep you guys and girls all posted.

I have Jackson Racing sways front/rear, they are bigger than stock. The Bilstein PSS coilovers have pretty lame spring rates for performance, something like 290 front and 240 rear (they do ride nicely). Unfortunately I understand that the dampers won't allow me to just upgrade the springs so I'm going to have to figure out which coilovers I want to replace them with.
also i know alot of the roads that you guys are talking about. I used to live around the marrow lebanon area and still live kinda close.

Thanks Nathan. I think I'll wait for some pictures where I'm not wearing a coat!
Did some more research, turns out I have the same spring rates front/rear. The Bilsteins have progressive rates which explains the 242/282 I saw. My front bar is adjustable so I'm going to try putting it on the stiffer setting and see what that gets me.

Hey guys, I'm looking into possibly buying a set of wheels this weekend off a guy here in columbus. The wheels are MB Weapons and I'm going to check them out on Sunday. I'm not trying to adversly effect the handling of the car. The sizes of the wheels should be 18X8 5-114.3 +30 offset or 18X9 5-114.3 +38 offset and maybe both. I'll find out on Sunday. How is the fitment going to be on this?
Here's a link to the wheels. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/whe...Selected=43201

The Weapons are nice looking wheels. If i recall, they're ~22-24 lbs, which puts them close to stock weight but with more width.

Since you're not lowered, fitment will be fine for either size. Lowered, you'll probably to roll the rear fenders with the 8.5's (since their +30) depending on how much negative camber you run. The 9's won't need any work at all. Mine are 18x9 +37. If they're staggered it will probably cause a little push since the fronts will be narrower. It could be dialed out with adjustable sways though. I prefer to run the same width all the way around.

What exactly do you mean by a little push?
