Too bad everyone from Deal's Gap couldn't have come down to The Mitty, we would have made the record (we were about 64 short).
Is anyone here interested in a stock catback exhaust for free? If not I'm trashing it this week. I also have an AFE master cylinder brace (in blue) with the stock front brace already drilled for it, I'm looking for some cash plus your stock brace.

It was great, up to the point where an asswipe valet moved my car from where I had parked it at a restaurant and backed it over a 7.5 inch high curb. Scraped the right rear mud flap and exhaust tip, probably also screwed my alignment. I'm in the process of talking to the parent company about it now (keep playing phone tag). It was great seeing the rotaries who made it down from DGRR. Unfortunately I was working so couldn't get around to look at them as much as I wanted, next time I go to something like that I am just going to pay my way to be able to do what I want when I want.

Had my first auto-x up here in Columbus this past week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was middle of the packish with my time. I should have done considerably better considering the capabilities of the 8, but since it was my first time I'm not too mad. It just shows I have a lot to learn.
On a side note, I should be down at Fuel this Saturday. I decided it would be nice to pay a visit to mom on Mother's day weekend.

Also forgot to mention, if you haven't seen Fast Five...go see it. It's actually a good movie and not as cheesy as some people would think. And if you don't believe me go read the reviews.

tact, I know it would be a bit of a haul for you, but there is another autocross at Turfway Park in Florence on 15 May. I'll be there with the Miata, I'd be happy to give you a ride or do whatever I can to help.

florence wouldn't be that too far, probably only an hour or so.
by the way, I found that RX-8 is in C-stock, but not sure if short rum intake would do for the class...
(well, I can put the stock back on since intake does not do anything but sound...)
anyways, I'll register to the florence event once i figure out the classification.

Looks like I'll be there in the Miata after all. Just got in from doing some research on it, turns out the crappy job the installer did tapping the O2 gauge into the sensor wire gave up and the wire broke. I'm going to get some heat shrink tubing in the morning so I can fix it up properly and not have to worry with it again. At least I don't have to wait on the new sensor I ordered to show up, and can actually enjoy this nice weather.

Kevin, I have bad news, I have a situation that I have to take care of on Saturday. I will not be able to come to Fuel. I apologize for that, because Kelly really wanted to meet Veronica, and go to the festival (and me see some other 8's). I know that I am disappointed as well, but I really have an emergency that just came up now and I have to go to Dayton. I know that you go to Fuel all of the time so there is always next week. Got my springs today, they are nice!
If you need some help with the springs, let me know. I'd be happy to head your way to help.

well damn. my laptop has been getting fixed for the last week and it looks like i missed a little autocross talk! feeling lazy but it looks like someone went to there 1st autocross so congrats on that! also im not to shocked about the mvscc having there event canceled this weekend as our contract with Wilmington is still not finished and ive heard they dont have the insurance necessary to rent out the airport. also worth noting ive talked to jim clark and it looks like the cscc will be having events soon. i dont think they have dates on there site but i know there 1st will be on the 22nd. pre reg for our event here http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...event_id=12415 . also in regards to the intake it would put you into bsp or stx depending on the intake. id recommend your just run stx as the pax is actually better than c-stock for some reason.

i doubt anyone will want them but ive got a set of 225/45/18 b.f.goodrich kdw's im giving away for free. they are very used but id say they have about 1-5000 miles left in them. not the best grip but still better than most all seasons and again.....free. good for starting autocross or drifting or maybe just doing a bunch of burnouts(my plan if noone takes them).
