Where did you find the '09 R3? Looks in good shape. Too bad they stopped importing anything but the Velocity Red R3.
I almost bought a 11 R3 from Jake Sweeney back in April. They had a "new" one that I took out. It had about 1000 miles on it. It must have been on the lot since last Fall. Opened up the trunk and Christmas wrapping paper was in there. They didn't seem to motivated in selling the two they had on the lot. Besides, I had a string of red cars, the last being a MS6, so I opted for a demo '10 GT from Kings.

While I was waiting to hear back about financing, I saw the red one they still have out on the lot. This was around the end of April, so possibly when you were looking at it. My car is actually at Jake Sweeney now, trying to fix what I think is an amp issue.

I'll be at Fuel. I would try to make the install party, after all I have many years of supervisory experience which is always needed for these things. However I am again scheduled to go look at a car with my stepdaughter. Hopefully she won't bail this week.

My wife will be out probably when we get to my place, but she'll be back shortly after, and join her supervising... well.. probably not really.. she doesn't care much (or at all) about working on the car....
oh, and guys I've never met before yet, feel free to come over as well.

I have the V12 evos on my car now and I love them so far (had them on since august). They are a pretty good compromise between street tires and track tires. A million times better than the stock Potenzas, but from what I can see from watching my competition at autox, I think the Star Specs might be a little more aggressive on the track.

Thanks. I love my star spec, but once it wear out, I don't want to spend that much, and thinking V12 would be a good alternative.

The Ventus Evo's are awesome. I have them on the rear set of wheels. Best bang for the buck IMO.
I'm need to change my brake fluid, trans fluid, and rear diff soon. I've never done it before and don't want to screw it up. Who want's to help? I'll ask in person tomorrow too lol.

Hey, I enjoyed coming down to Fuel this morning. Lots of 8's there. Of course, Mazda had the best showing, but lots of Porsches there too.
Looking forward to doing this again. Both my friends enjoyed it as well. Hopefully I'll get my springs sometime this summer and drop it down an inch or so.

Any personal recommendations on springs? I want to drop it <1" or so. Nothing too dramatic and not kill the ride either. Eibach Pro maybe? I probably won't do coil-overs.
