NICE!!! Lets all go rollin around this weekend or next weekend depeding on weather, We can just do this thing on a whim. I got my car back, Esteban got his sweet *** car back and it looks like more people are getting back into town along with more people joining. Lets DO THE DAMN THAAANG!

The weekend weather sucks!! But I am down for a small meet again before the Columbus Mazda meet...
Thanks guys... The car feels GGGooooooDDD ..... I am taking it easy because the turbo is newly rebuilt...
I will take the car out this afternoon for a few but then is going back to the garage until there is no more snow outside...

Hey Jeff sorry about not getting back to ya soon enough about the Indy trip. As you know I just got my car back because I had the engine replaced. I was already to head to Indy with you guys and then I popped my hood and I found a million problems with my car, it was throwing a CEL and it was dirty as hell with coolant everywhere. The dealership did an absolutly horrible job. So I wanted to clean the engine bay up hardcore, fix the CEL and put some good parts back on. I started working on my car on 2/16 at 10:30pm and I got finished at 4:30am. Long story short I finsihed everything with my car it runs amazing and now I am ready to roll to any meet we have.....
Dude, I saw you today on MLK at about 1240pm. didnt know if you saw me or not at the stop light..

Aww for real, na I didnt see ya man. I was trying to get my Mac D's back in time before it got cold...lol. Plus I was a little pissed because they had calhoun street block off, so I was bein a little speed demon from light to light, the new engine absoluty kicks ***. It feel twice as fast as it did before and it is consistant through the whole powerband.

Ok so I have been navigating around forums for events coming up around Cincinnati once the SNOW goes bye bye…
There seems to be quiet a few coming up soon so...
I was thinking we should definitely be representing the Cincy RX8 community in these events!
I narrowed down to 3 major-ones
1) La Salle Car Show 2008: April 26, 11AM--4PM Cincinnati Ohio Info here
2) 3/15/08 Empire Tuning – All Mazda Meet – Quaker Steak & Lube - Columbus, OH Info here

So is anyone else ****** tired with this cold, snowy, icey weather?
I mean I use to love it until this past friday night. I am ready for it to be in the mid 60's not a cloud in the sky, sunny and a slight breeze..so who wants to move out to cali with me??!!

I am almost at a 1000 miles on the new engine...the reason I am telling you guys this is because I can alomost redline again. Not being able to redline has given me even more respect for this car, it rides great for a cruise but I need to hear that little beep again....I LOVE IT...: )

Just got back from Charlotte. These damn business trips are kickin me in the *** and stupid thing is I don't have any time to sight see. Thank God the next one isn't till May. Well the next planned one isn't till then but they have been known to pop up unexpectedly.

I've decided to put the exhaust and car pc on the back burner for now. I started an AR15 and a competition target rifle build before xmas so I need to get those done before one of these damn socialists gets in office and begins loosening the screw on our 2nd amendment rights.
Anyhoo, what's the plan for these meets coming up? I'm game for whatever.

PS: The parking lot it is right off the kings Island Exit on 71 North! Once you get off the exit; just keep going straight pass Kings Island in the right and the Movie Theater will be in the left side of the road.

Seems like we will be having a big caravan up to Columbus boys and girls!
I posted the meeting place and time on the miata, Mazda 3, Ohio rotaries, mazda6, and other local Mazda WebPages...
And they are all meeting us at the Showcase Kings Island Parking lot!
Now I know we have more RX-8s here in Cincinnati that don’t post much! But it would be great if we can get a big group of us to go and meet up and have a good time with other Mazda owners.

Yeah im selling it! Its becoming too much of a headache right now to get together and I would rather have a few other things than that right now. When I get enough money I will want to do it right! I was thinking about getting the MS front bumper and the Mazsport ignition soluton if I dont win it at the indy meet.

there are going to be tons of people/cars at the meet in Columbus! Us Indy people are meeting up at Meijer at 65 and southport and cruising in together too. Can't wait to meet you guys
I'm really looking forward to the meet in INDY too. The Indyrx8club is hosting the meet on Sat. and the OhioAxelaClub is hosting the meet on Sunday. Should make for an exciting weekend

I am getting pumped for all of these events, I am getting ready to go on spring break so I will have time off football and I will have all the time in the world to drive the 8.....: )
