haha well I'll be there man. Just hoping the gf will come. I heard someone mention bringing their kids to I believe? If so how old are they? I figure if I make mention of other kids being there she'll be more inclined to come along since we can bring her two with us (they are 5 and 7).
So anyone know of any decent jobs Mon-Fri 40 hours lol.. sick of my new job already bah.

I believe its set for Sunday the 22nd of July. Its at Castle Island in Boston. Its right offa 93/3 and is a nice beach/park/tourist attraction. I havent been there in many many years but its a nice place for a relaxed meet.
Oh and Vosko aint running it so dont worry about shelling out $5000 to get in. Its free!!!!!
Anyone find out if you can bring a grill?? Be nice to have some hotdogs and burgers grilled up while we all chat and hang out.

hey guys whats the story with boston streets ?
My navi acted up and kept telling me to make a right into a wall in the tunnel.not to mention bear right while I was in a river according to the Navi.
a couple of my friends stated there navi's,honda,acura did some funky stuff like that also. and I was thinking mazda screws me over again.LOL

Please check this thread here sometime after this Sunday night. I'll check out Castle Island one more time this Sunday morning and will post all the meet details (e.g. directions, bbq, etc.).
I'm so looking forward to this meet, and I'm sure other members who have responded are as well. We're gonna have a great time!

So what time is this meet. Just found out that the Gf's grand parents are having a family gathering and are dying to meet me (re: harassing her to bring me over lol). If its around 2-3 (more torwards 3 would be nice) then I can make it. I'd like the later time as already stated soley because its a Sunday and some of us (like Sokim haha) will need their sleep and would be nice to get some errands done also.
If all else this meet might give me and possibly her a out if it gets kinda boring hehe.

Here we go...
I went to Castle Island this morning again around 11:00 a.m. When I got there, I couldn't believe my eyes. There were tons of cars and people! The main parking lots were full, but there were plenty of parking spaces on the street. Anyway, I'll explain more below.
To get to Castle Island, you'll need to take I-93 to exit 15. If you're gonna take I-93 S, you have to turn left at the set of lights as soon as you get off exit 15. If you're gonna take I-93 N, you'll turn right at the end of the off-ramp (exit 15). Regardless of which direction you're coming from (I-93 N or I-93 S), you will end up on the same road when you turn left (from I-93 S) or right (from I-93 N). You will then come up to a rotary, which is just a few hundred feet from where you make that turn off the off-ramp. Go half a rotary, meaning that you enter the rotary at the 6 o'clock mark and exit the rotary at the 12 o'clock mark. As you come around near the 12 o'clock mark, you'll see a small sign saying "Castle Island" and an arrow. You should then see a State Police barrack on your right. Keep driving up ahead and try to stay on the right lane at all times. You'll then see a set of lights where another street will merge with the one you're on. Keep going and stay on the right lane. You'll see Carson Beach on your right. Up ahead, the two lanes will merge into one lane. You'll then see the first small parking lot saying "Pleasure Bay."
That parking lot is pretty tiny. We won't be able to congregate there. Just keep on driving for another 1/4 mile or so, you'll see a sign saying "Castle Island."
You're now at Castle Island. You'll see a bigger parking lot than the one at Pleasure Bay. It's a dead end there.
Like I said above, the parking lot was packed when I got there this morning. What I found was that we could park at the spaces on the short stretch of road between Pleasure Bay and Castle Island. These spaces are facing the water/beach. The spots on either extreme (near Castle Island or Pleasure Bay) are mostly taken. The ones in the middle are available because it'll be a longer walk to either terminus. For now, I think that's a prime spot for us to meet.
These spots are close to Castle Island:
While these spots, where we will meet, are midway between Pleasure Bay and Castle Island:
Don't worry, if you want to go to either places, it's just within walking distance. If you're gonna rollerblade or bike, it'll take like 2-3 minutes.
We should meet up at 11:00 a.m. I will probably hang out there for the rest of the day or until the last person in our group leaves.
I found out that we can actually cook/bbq there. If we have more than 25 people in our group, we will need to get a permit. If there are less than 25 people, no permit is required. I can bring sausages and charcoal if someone can bring a grill and buns, burger, etc. If no one's gonna volunteer, I'll just bring water, soda, chips, cookies, etc.
There are beaches here, so bring your swimming trunks/bikini if you want to take a dip in the water or sunbathe. You can also fish (may need to have a license; I'm not sure), rollerblade or bike. There's also a playground for children.
O.K...That's all I can think of now. If anyone has any question, please ask. If anyone needs my cell phone number just in case you get lost or something, which is hard to do anyway, please PM me.

I think we all should try to show up at 11:00 a.m. sharp so that we can park closer together. Or we could just double park/take up two spots and save 'em for those coming later. I'd rather not do that, though.

I have to work Sunday morning now - until 5pm. 
the boss at my PT job offered me too much loot to say no.
I'll prlly take a spin up and see if anyone's still hangin out after work. Hopefully it'll be slow and I can cut out early.

Alright bad news. Asked the GF about what time the grandparents are having their lil family deal and its at 12 I'm gonna see about heading up there after the family function if you will, hopefully people will still be up there. Sokim I'll give you a call when I'm leaving to see if its worth heading up. Was already warned that they wish to meet me and they were already told I'm coming so I can't bail out on her now. Though it was funny explaining what a "Meet" was to my gf's mother haha.. the look on her face was classic that of "huh?"
