Great question, 200.mph....

There are two other guys (Skwoko & Renzo-Rx8) that want in. Adding two more slots would lower the per car cost considerably but I think the original 6 need to decide if this is something they really want to do.

Jeff offers up to 8 slots for the price quoted. FI slots tend to take the time of two. So we're basically already at capacity.

I can tell you from experience (I've done a few of these) that if we add more people it will make for a MUCH longer day and we run the possibility that not all cars will get tuned.

While I won't win any popularity awards over this, it is my recommendation we lock in at 6 and do not accept any additional cars. Doing so will ensure we can get through all tuning and give the tuner the time he needs for everyone.

Thoughts?

Shell

I agree. No more than 7. I would rather not rush the tuner to save like $30. I daily drive my car and need a good tune. I know he can tweak it down the road but I really want to leave that day with a good functonal tune that I dont have to worry about. Not a rushed ok tune. To be honest, I would be even ok with keeping it at 6.

I am having a PowerFC tuned on my other car in May and that place has a policy of tuning 1 car per day. Its more expensive but I like the idea that they are taking several hours to tweak it.

I think no more than 6 participants is sufficient to allow adequate time for each tuning session.

I got some updated #s from the shop yesterday. Nothing drastic but I under-estimated each car by about $25. Will be sending y'all an update via PM likely some time tomorrow. Also didn't get to respond to Jeff until this morning and hope to have the deposit paid by tomorrow.

Dave is usually in by 8am... Jeff will be there at 8:30. Tuning will likely start by 9.

Also, Jeff will be in town Sunday too in case anyone runs into a situation requiring his assistance. I may take him up on that depending on where things are with my Adaptronic install TBT.

Also, we have a couple guys MIA at the moment. I'm trying to get this list off to Jeff and rather than nickel and dime him was trying to send them as a batch.

MOTOMOUSE & PICO --- PLEASE CHECK YOUR PM INBOX

Hey Jason (JWeave16),

Please drop Jeff a line so that you can get your AP purchase squared away....

Also anyone else not a current MMCCS subscriber should also reach out to him.
