2007 New England Spring Run, Adirondacks May 19th and 20th!!

NO RAIN!!! LOL. I have better sneaks this year which is what sucked for me last year but I would love an open windowed, open sunroofed run this year so I can hear all those hawt exhausts (hopefully mine included) and intakes. Not to mention squeeling tires!

I am still unsure what time I'll be hitting town Friday night. I've got a Family gig that I am still thinking about attending, which would have me getting into Brattleboro late.
Coolbluedad isn't expecting he'll make the run. His daughter(s) have a recital of some kind.
The hotel prices are all climbing - the super 8 I booked was $55 dollars a night, but I waited a little longer to see start times, and when I booked it was already up to $68. f8ckers!

I should have done this sooner but who would be interested in having me use my promotional connections to design a cool T-shirt to commemorate this event?
I am thinking I could keep the cost per t-shirt down to $15-$20/ea.
Please let me know if there would be any interest in this as I would love to do SOMETHING more for this group since you have all helped me out so much. I wouldn't be able to get these done before Saturday but would certainly be wiling to ship them to everyone after the fact.

Purveyor of fine bass
DRKSYDE, I'm down for a t-shirt.
How about beers at 10pm? Hopefully late enough for most to get a drink or two before heading to sleep?

Not sure if it's a big deal or not, seeing as you have all my info but I am still not on the spreadsheet as confermed. I will be there.

Here's the latest (probably final) version of the spreadsheet! (click me!)
The first meeting point on Saturday is:
- Park & Ride @ Bow Junction; End of I-89 & Bow/Concord line 6:30 AM
- your meetup leader is LilRedShinka
- So far there is... only LilRedShinka and husband. Is that still on? Am I late on some news?
The second meeting point is:
- 972 Putney Road, Brattleboro, VT, 05201 8:00 AM
- your host is DRKSYDE
- ±16 cars join there, making the line ±18 cars long
The third meeting point and lunch is:
- 24 Stark Road, Corinth, NY 12822
- your host is RX Eight 7
- ±6 cars will join there, making the group ±24 cars
SpazzyChaz will join us somewhere sometime in Lake Placid. Spazzy?
There is also 6 members who didn't indicate where they plan to meet the group but did send their contact info (VarneyMazda, Blueovis, bd32322, otakurx, midlifer and TyGuy) and 5 other members who said they'll be there but from whom we don't have meeting point or contact info (chrism, Cool Blue Dad, Red-Baron, rx8frank and mrobert55).
At this point it looks like our line will be about 24 cars long, possibly as much as 35 cars long. We should be between 41 and 58 people counting drivers and passengers.
Please note that I will soon send the complete file to everyone who sent me or dmc their contact info, meaning anyone coming on this run can reach you either by email or phone. If you want to retract your info from the list, tell me NOW.

My friend Jay will NOT be atending this run unfortunately (he will be working in Bennington at one of my stores on Saturday) and Chrism will also most likely not be attending due to an identity theft issue!

I'm new on this forum but I work with RX Eight 7 (Mike K. - Ya'll are having lunch at his place on Sat) and I'd like to come too. I've got an '06 MazdaSpeed 6. Mike said I should let you know so to add my wife and I to the lunch/dinner reservations. Who do I PM with my info to get it onto the spreadsheet? And how are ya'll planning to stay in touch on the road, talkies or cell phones?

Deslock - The schedual looks great! I think on the whole the timing looks good give or take a little everywhere Question to you and the group...
Why are we stopping at Saratoga Mazda? I mean, I wouldn't mind stopping by a friendly dealer just for fun, but it seems like we are making a lot of stops... and if Saratoga Mazda doesn't really plan to make any arrangments to greet us... lets see if we can throw some of the extra road you had to cut out, back in! I mean I think we can make it from Greenwich @ 10:45 to Rx Eight 7s house by noon with out the need for a rest stop?
Just a thought. I know there are some fun roads around the Saratoga area (I seem to recall driving a few of them late at night on my way from Schenectady to Saratoga)... but I can't remember them very well... Any one from the area have any recommendations? Rx Eight 7??? Is this your neck of the woods.
But man, what a great schedual you guys have put together! Darn impressive for a first time run! Way to go DRKSYDE. My girlfirend and I are really looking forward to this weekend!

Ok, almost received some horific news... the bar in the Summit is under renonvations this month and closed... BUT they will be opening for this comming weekend only, so we are in luck! They have placed a liquore order and plan to be fully opened and stocked by the 18th, with room for 50-60 people! What a relief.
As any of you know from past years spring runs that you may have been on (the Miata Spring run I have done the last few years with quite a few of you ), the Saturday gathering at the bar is always advisable and key to a great spring run!
It is also my understanding that the Hilton is directly accross the street (so hopefully a few of you will venture across the street) and there are a couple of great bars on main street within easy stumbling distance if we care to leave the confines of the Hotel.
As for the Swiss Acres Inn, I think you guys maybe a mile or so down the road but it would be great to see all of you as well if you can find a safe way of getting to and from. Maybe next year we can all book the same hotel!
I will be looking forward to hanging out with everyone and knocking a few back Saturday night! Hope to see you in the bar!

Anyone still looking for a roommate? :D
I'm surprised that no one is staying at the Courtyard, I chose that because I have so many Marriott pts and it's right down the street from the Hilton.
If you're interested PM me and I can cut you a good deal, the room has 2 queen beds, costs $109+tax normally but I'm only asking for $40 since I paid with pts.
