Otherwise just head to my house a bit earlier and we will end up in Lake Placid a bit earlier (assuming no roadblocks from the State Police ).

The Saturday Lunch Menu:
Baked Zita
Veggie Lasagna
Tossed Salad
Garlic Bread (and regular bread)
Various finger foods and munchies
Hot dogs
Drinks

Any other requests? If someone can't find anything there that they like just let me know - I'll give you a fishing pole and some worms and let you catch your lunch out of the pond Seriously, if someone needs something else just let me know ahead of time.
Assuming there are no complaints, I was planning on bringing a bunch of cookies. Apparently, my wife just robbed a convenience store and now has multiple boxes of cookies.

I am printing 40 copies of the directions from the route in post 717, as well as the itinerary.

Sounds good. Our 13-yr-old son is with us, but he can stay at the hotel and get some sleep. Giles and I may not stay long, but it will be nice to just chill with everyone for a few!

See some of you tonight, the rest tomorrow!

We are staying at the Super 8 in Greenfield,MA tonight to save some driving time tomorrow, and to be able to sleep later. We won't be up there until 8-8:30 at the earliest though because we have to drop off our kids at my mothers house.

We'll have to do this again next year for all the ppl who aren't able to make it this year!

***FINAL WORD ON MEETING AT BOW JCT./I-89 & I-93:

I HAD NO RESPONSES INDICATING THAT ANYONE WAS PLANNING TO MEET THERE SATURDAY MORNING, SO WE HAVE BOOKED A ROOM FRIDAY NIGHT. HOPE THIS DOESN'T PRESENT A PROBLEM FOR ANYONE, BUT WE COULDN'T SEE GETTING UP AT 5:30 AND BEING THE ONLY ONES TO DRIVE UP FROM CONCORD.***

We booked a room in Greenfield, MA, which is 18 miles South of Brattleboro. Most of the hotels in Brattleboro are booked up for some reason, as someone stated earlier. Depending on which direction you are coming from, here are some possible places to stay if you still want to book something Friday night:

From East (Maine, Central NH) - Keene, NH
From North (upper VT, Canada) - Putney or Bennington, VT
From South (MA border & down) - Greenfield, MA

If there is a place the Friday-nighters have decided to meet in Brattleboro, can you let me know? We'd love to hook up with you guys!

Hope we get at least a few rays of sunshine this weekend! =)

See everyone soon!

I want to Thank everyone for a great time. I felt right at home even with my old bomber.I couldn't keep up most times, but all in all I think I did well.

The ride home on 87S was riddled with state troopers, and believe it or not a Border Patrol stop in the middle of the interstate. W e just got home from picking up the kids.We stopped for a short time in Lake George to buy a gift for my mother who was watching the boys, and ran into a Viper club that was doing the gas fill up thing. We snapped one quick photo, and I will post it if you guys want. Thanks agian, and I hope to join you guys on another trip.Maybe someday I will own an 8 again.

i actually ran into a couple that must have broken off from that viper run. it was an RT/10 and a bugatti. i joined and had some fun with them for a while before i had to break off toward CT as they stayed in NY.

i didn't even think to turn on my radio until after i passed you guys and was out of radio range. of course the only reason i was able to pass was that i lucked out and had a short lane in that border patrol checkpoint.

There was a Viper at one of my rest stops before hitting NJ.....wonder if he was part of that group.

You must've been booking........we didn't see you after that border patrol stop....
